Soooo….. I’m very glad this video exists. Following it step by step and pausing as we went took us 14 hours. 🤣 it made me wonder how long it actually took to film. I highly suggest following this video, use the paper manual (it has pictures of the actual true to size screws so you can match them up and make sure you’re using the right ones), and also the robot lady instructions. Between the three different instructions, we had hardly any problems. It’s a lot of work but it’s a great marriage builder. Or destroyer. You choose. It’s like a “choose your own adventure” build. Good luck!
This video was immensely helpful. That being said, I would have done the ridge line on the roof differently. Instead of putting all the pieces together on the ground and then trying to maneuver a 20 foot piece onto the roof, I would recommend start at one end and assemble it in pieces on the roof from the inside. This will help with applying pressure from the outside to better secure the panels together
I bought this shed. As I was putting the doors together, I just wanted to make sure the dented side for the holes was facing in the right direction, so I started watching the video. This guy is impressive and does an impressive job putting the shed together.
This is my second lifetime shed. First one is almost 20 years old and still looks great. I think it is going to outlast the foundation. I hope this one lasts just as long.
The video was very helpful in preparing for the assembly of the shed. I would advise that when drilling into the steel/metal please use goggles to protect your eyes from falling or flying debris. I am female and enjoyed assisting my husband in the assembly of the shed. It was cumbersome, but we got the job done. Yeah!
A well done video. Thank you. The part I'm trying to figure out is how to build the shed so I can minimize the number of hours when I will need to hire the other 2 guys. For example, putting all the trusses is place before the roof panels go on. Building the skylight ahead of time, before assistance is needed. I wonder if someone has done that. That would be a good video for lifetime to make.
I’m constructing my shed this week. I built the roof trusses, gables, doors, and skylights prior to starting the floor and walls. That work alone took about 5-6 hours. We’ll see how long the rest of the build goes but hoping the pre-work helps reduce total build time.
This 20x8 build shed install is different then the one I just installed in my backyard the one sent as 2 skylights , Also the skylight across the roofs peak , missing from my install those two metal bars shown in this video that go under the two window walls , also bracket that connects Center truss above main door was not in any box , and then only received two pouches for 2 doors but in video the installer installed 4 :( ..Otherwise I hope my new lifetime shed lasts a lifetime figures crossed ps the shed is WOW thank you lifetime also a note to people wanting to purchase this shed make sure to get some help with install if you can not I suggest paying the rate and have lifetime help you out in finding some people to help you with this project just a tip

Good video for most part. My shed did not come with corner mounts. Corner mounts not mentioned with included instructions, but were in downloaded instructions.
I have the 15x8 and I did not get spring locks like this one that drill in. There was also no self tapping screw part for the slide in, it just slid in and then the middle latches were bolted on. Also had a way tougher time getting those hinge tubes in than in this video. They went in about half way barely and then had to be hammered the rest of the way.. The floor didn't snap together flush (it should snap together different, tighter and not require screws that stick up) needs to be redesigned. Also some of my roof panels, when the screws went in you could see soft spots on the top, like the plastic was worn. Its a really great shed but just needs a better design for some of the parts. There should also be alternative instructions included if you want to move the middle doors to the left or the right.

If I designed this. The bottom of the walls would have a square channel and be secured to the floor with a metal l bracket and the top of the wall would have a flat bar on top of the wall to make the whole structure square and have flat bar along every wall seam. And the trusses would be plastic.

Can leave the center ( door) section off to make a smaller shed? will it work with the floor panels? I like to make the shed smaller. is it possible?
Yes. The door covers 5 feet, so it would go down to at least 15 feet. You would also need to remove floor, wall, and roof panels.
Mine came in 3 boxes not 4...but boxes are labeled 1of 3, 2 of 3 & 3 of 3. Is is possible I am missing a box? (Model 60127 20x8)
60127 only comes with 3 boxes.
Same here. My 8’ x 20’ Lifetime Shed came in 3 very large boxes. Was wondering the same thing.
Is it possible to add more windows ?
At 36:45. There are 2 cutouts at the top, next to the side door, left and right- and only one truss with the notch?
There should be two truss gutter channels with notches, (DSQ).
Do the windows have to be on the side with the door, or can they be put on the wall opposite the long-wall door?
