I lived in Russia so I know firsthand how dedicated Russian ballet dancers, opera singers and musicians are to their craft. It is a point of national pride. I studied at a Conservatory in St. Peters’ in Russia (vs Florida) but I did not have the talent or dedication required. The standards of perfection for Russian artists are such that they learn, practice, evolve endlessly. They put their whole heart and soul into their art. It is a long standing tradition. Repetita iuvant (as the Ancient Romans said).

Она родилась на Сахалине, но потом семья переехала в Москву, где Юля сначала окончила музыкальную школу имени Гречанинова в Отрадном, рядом с которой я живу. Видела ее большое интервью на Канале Культура, но лично не знакома, конечно. Правда, дважды была на ее концертах
