At 37:50 Alex shouldn't of untapped his arena of glory because he exerted it on his last turn to cast Tovolar with haste. I'm not sure how different the game would've been but it let him cast an extra spell that turn!
Sorry for the question, though I'm curious because I'm having trouble: What microphones do you all use? I ordered some lav mics for my friends and I to record us playing some MTG, though they don't seem to work with my interface or something, with or without phantom power. Again, sorry for asking without any context or anything prior. Love you guys and what you do! Thanks for the wonderful MTG gameplay you all provide, and I hope you all are doing well! ❤
We use 2 sets of Deity Theos wireless lav mics. I wouldn't recommend that for people just starting out though, they are very expensive. I would recommend the DJI Mic 2 set.
Ok so I have a question about the charismatic conqueror. If the creatures enter tapped shouldn't that mean you can't tap them to pay for the trigger so the controller gets a vampire?
Like the beat, beat, beat of the tom tom when the evening shadows fall, like the tick, tick, tock of the stately clock as it stands against the wall, like the drip, drip drip of the rain drops when the summer shower is through, so a voice within me keeps repeating, "You, you, you." Night and day, you are the one only you beneath the moon and under the sun. Whether near to me or far, it's no matter, darling, where you are. I think of you night and day. Day and night, why is it so that this longing for you follows where ever I go? In the roaring traffic's boom, in the silence of my lonely room, I think of you night and day. Night and day, under the hide of me , there's an oh-so-hungry yearning burning inside of me. and its torment won't be through 'til you let me spend my life making love to you, day and night, night and day.
Common misplay from Alex: if it is Night, creatures with Daybound/Nightbound *enter* on the correct (Day or Night) side so cards like Ulrich don't trigger their daybound side then flip if it is already night. In the case of Ulrich, no creature gets the +4/+4, it would just come in and fight.
I think this is right for daybound/nightbound except that Ulrich uses the old wording that doesn't involve daybound or nightbound at all. It transformed because of Vildin-Pack Alpha's triggered ability, so it would enter and both triggers would go on the stack, and then when the transform trigger resolves Ulrich would flip and the backside trigger would go on the stack; meaning that he gets both the fight and the +4/+4 in the order of his choosing.
This might sound weird but I’m a straight woman so idc Jim you look very handsome with your hair like that. Did you do something different? Thanks for the great game, I love you all very much!
IDK why Jim took his commander out of the thing because we all know Edgar Markov rarely ever hits the field.
Declining the handshake at the end, Jim you dog! lol
Fun Yugioh fact for Bill: its no longer called Frog the Jam, they changed it to Slime Toad so they don't have to mention it every time
Every time you crack into your Gamegenic products I miss "Solid as a ROCK!" The beat is nice, but I literally hear the slogan in my head.
agree
Same here lol
So here's some advice for anyone playing werewolves. Double sleeve the deck and take the outer sleeve off when you cast your werewolves lol
So have a clear inner but an opaque outer? I need to do that with my Tovolar deck.
@TheForeverRanger saves so much time if play the deck regularly lol
@@bruvaroni or get dupes of all werewolves as they're not super expensive and have a spare deck, or use the MDFC indicators
So exciting for the aetherdrift content to come!!!!!!!!! Yall are my fav keep doing great
shout out bill for the frog the jam reference, truly one of The Cards of all time
Was excited for the gameplay but immediately became distracted by how cozy Bill's sweater looks
That advokist was hilarious. What a great deal!
Eliot was in a great mood this video, loved the energy! Awesome video as always
"Hi, I'm Elliott and I am the human at the table today.." no.. you're a bumblebee

Shouldn't have*
Alex's shirt today is pretty neat!
Vampires, humans, zombies, werewolves oh MY! SOLID AS A ROCK!
Noxious Ghoul is a heck of a card.
Im surprised Jim focused Alex so much. That was a prime opportunity to politic to keep Bill from going nuts
as someone with a tovolar deck, i'm glad alex had a turn one sol ring because he wouldn't have been in the game without it
You're telling me a Spike remastered these commanders?
Might even be five-shadowing..... I wheezed
Elliot, are they humans?
OR ARE THEY DANCERS
My signs are vital.
@TheForeverRanger my ghouls are cold
So for sage of ancient Lore, the game checks for P/T before the trigger to draw a card is put on the stack/resolves?
I like Eliot's bumblebee cosplay

@TheSpikeFeeders Thank you so much! I appreciate that greatly.
I'm here for Bill and only Bill. teehee
Ok so I have a question about the charismatic conqueror. If the creatures enter tapped shouldn't that mean you can't tap them to pay for the trigger so the controller gets a vampire?
It specifically checks for things entering untapped, so entering tapped doesn't trigger it at all
Is it Noxious Ghoul or Obnoxious Ghoul? 😂😂😢
Good thing it isn't a Vengeful Sandwich
Not enough people laughed at Chekhov's Advokist, but don't worry Jim I heard it and laughed.
I have been told comments are good for the algorithm
It's goog to see a deck with a bully card such as Noxius Ghoul being beaten out like this. That creature is truyle annoying.
YO MY BOI KYLER LET'S GOOOO

Edgar wins
Like this comment to appreciate Day and Night
Never liked a TH-cam comment faster
The least liked thing to keep track of in a game
I personally love this mechanic because it keeps me engaged the entire game
Gotta add dislike back just for this comment

Everything changed when 4th person pronouns arrived
Wooooo
Did these mfs just drop a reference to like, decade old league game mode Dominion??
It's fast, it's fun.
Why are you all not playing by the new attack rules that came out in foundations
Could you elaborate on what you mean?
