- In this video, we head out on a road trip to Wisconsin to pick up a vintage Burton Air snowboard signed by the Godfather of Freeriding himself, Craig Kelly. Craig was a 4x freestyle world champ that retired from competitive snowboarding to pursue backcountry riding. In 2003, Craig Kelly was killed in an avalanche with six others in British Columbia, Canada. To this day, he is considered one of the best snowboarders ever. His style and grace riding POW is something special to see!
Very cool I'm happy that this snowboard found you and now has a good home also thank you for the history lesson....

I went to the Torque Center back in the day! Nice pickup
That’s pretty awesome! Thank you Adam 🙏🏽
I have the boots from that season when that board was released I used to own that board and I also have the bindings with the high backs complete still in good shape. The only thing is I’ve change the toe straps on them and I am interested in selling them if you’re interested.
DOOOOPE!
🙌🏽
I’m a new viewer and I’ve Loved the videos so far, any updates on the clew bindings? Any changes after ab a year of owning them?
Thank you, I really appreciate that 🙏🏽 Nothing new with the CLEWS. The weather in the Midwest has been so up and down so I haven’t gotten enough riding days. So far I’ve been riding mainly the step ons since I prefer those.
Hi people, what is the approx price value of a Burton Kelly Air - Craig Kelly Barbwire Pro. Thanks for the reply (black) scribble at the back
Value is really dependent on condition of the board. People would have to see pictures of the base and the top sheet without bindings mounted. If it’s the one I’m thinking, black top with white base (w/barbwire graphics), I picked one up recently in mint condition for $275. That was a good deal though in my opinion.
@@themidwestshredder thanks alot. I sold IT than far to cheap 🙈 150€. But its in handscwho value IT. Thanks alot
@@AutordeinesLebens the good thing is that it went to someone that cared about it. I’ve sold things very cheap to people I knew would appreciate it.
That would've sucked if they had sold it while you were driving up there.
Luckily everything worked out 🙌🏽
could you post a pic of the bottom of this board
Hi, I would but I don’t think I can load pictures in the comments.
I don't believe you can I was just curious but thank you for takeing the time to show us this board
