That was a forgiving crowd. If that took place in Boston, New York, or Philly, the crowd would have booed her until she stopped or start singing over her to drown her out. Sometimes, I wish the crowd would just sing the anthem at sporting events. When's there's been instances of technical difficulties or when a singer forget the words, the crowd only renditions are so patriotic.

@@richardmyers7847 Actually, autotune couldn't fix all this.... some, probably, but it tries to snap the off-pitch note to the nearest actual note pitch, if you are too far from the right note, autotune will snap you to whatever note you're closest to, and to the wrong note... if it's recorded, an engineer can manually move them to the right notes but live, no. 😁

I know every singer has different abilities, but when she mentioned singing drunk, I remember how Amy Winehouse used to be drunk or drink during concerts and how wonderful she used to sound. I believe this girl cannot sing and this was a very public way to show it.

I mean, Elvis Presley (to whom Ingrid surely CAN’T be compared as a singer) couldn’t recall the lyrics sometimes, but he was regularly able to put on a solid show. He was experienced at it.
However, when he wasn’t able to perform, it was just as disastrous (which even Whitney sometimes experience. Folks can hear of how terrible she was at her “Clive Davis Birthday” show). It was just as sad!
Ms. Ingrid (especially now) needs our support, not our jabs. Personally, I wish her the best. She’s a great singer/songwriter, and (most importantly) she’s a great PERSON! 👍🩷

I have never heard this woman sing and I was today old when I first heard of her. Based on what I just heard I was shocked to learn that this is four-time Grammy nominee. That was a forgiving crowd. If that took place in Boston, New York, or Philly, the crowd would have booed her until she stopped or start singing over her to drown her out. Sometimes, I wish the crowd would just sing the anthem at sporting events. When's there's been instances of technical difficulties or when a singer forget the words, the crowd only renditions are so patriotic.
