I enjoyed the movie so much. It was like the best mood I've left a movie since Godzilla King of the Monsters haha I really loved the themes of self worth being so important. It just fit Seed so much. Also I got my bois Sai & Dearka back
I really liked the story and characters and all the in jokes and Easter eggs for long time fans. Some of the pacing was a bit fast but anime gets like that sometimes when there is a lot of ground to cover. I’ve come to realize that people either get what seed was trying to do (make a statement about genetic engineering and its ramifications via determinism vs freedom while still retaining that essential anime tone) or you don’t and it’s ok either way. For me going over the old series and seeing this movie has been a lot of fun.
@@GundamExplained That true meaning of love though was a way to explain the fundamental problem with determinism. People have tried for along time to create government structures to try and bend society towards predestined outcomes for example using the will of god (theocracy) or the sociology of labor (communism). Here Durandal was trying to use genetics to artificially order society. Yet go back to Kira’s explanation of coordinators to Cagalli early in Gundam Seed…. Yes they can do seemingly amazing feats, less likely to have illness, and physically look good (subjective as that is) but they still need to work hard and study to master any craft. That mastery can’t be predetermined much less a more abstract concept like love. I don’t want to say more to avoid spoilers ^^;
I will keep this short to hold back on any temptation on writing spoilers on my end. This is the best Anime of the 2024, and deserves Anime Grand Prix rewards like many Gundam anime shows got in the past.
I actually saw OG characters like Mirialia, Sai, and Kuzy in the movie last night myself! A tad sketchy though at the end with Kira and Lacus out on the beach.
In terms of progression, the word is Speedrun. In terms of plot, it's a series worth of story compressed into a ZIP file, then labeled movie. It kind of reminds me why only Astray and other side stories were the only things I find interesting in CE timeline. It was still entertaining, to say the least.
I loved it and only recently watched seed this past year with the newer dub voice actors so hearing them in this movie was awesome
Literally no complaints about the movie. Almost no low points at all. It hit the ground running and didn't stop!

Interesting. To me the statement was the true meaning of love.

Kaiju Stella haunts my nightmares
I enjoyed and the animated action is amazing. It should have not become a limited screening since it's done so good in Japan.
Yeah and there were a lot of people at the theater!

Yeah I know! 😂. When I saw it everyone in the theater was like, “WOW!!! 😮” and it felt like we almost jumped out of our seats.

That's a good way to put it. I feel like this would have been a good candidate for a multi-part OVA.
It's more a movie for advanced users.
I watch the sub because the dub is not the original voice actors
Same, in are day and age there literally is no reason we couldn't get them back for 1 movie. Sub was great.
I really want the original English Dub Voice Actors Back so darn badly. But who ever the people are they didn't give to us on Time!
Also, WHY DID THEY HAVE TO GO RIP ON THE Archangel!?😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
LACOOS...
😂
You don't really care about the movie. All you care about is Uc
Adam actually does like other series in AU not only UC. He actually likes Gundam Seed Destiny the most next to Gundam 00.
