Dimash’s range is from F1 to D8, 7 octaves not 8. Dimash speaks 4 languages but can sing in over 13; he has 2 Masters Degrees in voice/music both contemporary and opera; he is working on his PhD in composition; he is 6’3” tall, has a red belt in martial arts; plays 7 instruments, and yes he has god-given talent but has been training hard since the age of 5; his mom is an opera singer and his dad a popular music singer. He sing in many genres including folk, jazz, rock, metal, rap, classical, and is known as a creative fusion artist. He speaks and sings about world peace, gives to charities, and is a humble, wonderful human being.
As someone who formerly watched some of your reactions its super awesome to see you reacting to Dimash. Not everyone will get it, but this guy is super special in ways that no dictionary could ever give you the words to describe. It isnt just the high notes, or the range, or even the control. If it was, he would be another flash in the pan and he wouldnt be going strong after about 7 years in the spotlight. Its the music. He breaks down any preconceived notions of how the world works and he is just a gateway into enlightenment. Forgive the waffle, but this guy is just so special and I don't think the world understands how much so. Hopefully one day, as Dimash tries to enter the Western mainstream, the world at large will understand the genius and artistry that goes into his music, even if it isnt 'their genre of music'. Thats all we can hope for.
Completely agree, not everyone does “get it”, but for those that do, it’s incredibly special ❤. Most will at least respect the amount of dedication and talent Dimash has, but truly getting it is wonderful.

Dimash is the most talented, hardworking singer. Many genres, many languages, opera to rap. Plays several instruments, composes, directs, models and is the most respectful, loving, patriotic person ever. No ego, no scandals, just tries every day to challenge himself. Try Stranger from New Wave 2021 next which is in English and shows more skills. It’s epic.

Ooooh, you're on the Dimash train!! Dimash is phenomenal in absolutely every way! 8 Octaves, he sings notes OFF the piano and sings in around 12 languages, may have overestimated a little. "You ain't heard nothing yet!!" Stranger is a good go-to, he sings in English and you get to see more of his voice range AND it is LIVE.

Dimash is a 29-year-old Kasakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts, and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was recently in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material from him that fans of his (he affectionately calls us "dears") are looking forward to. He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country.

You have seen NOTHING yet. This is tame compared to what he's done since then. Dimash is the singing God, the performance God, the stage set-up God, he's the EVERYTHING God. Just to mention, not only was he gifted with that magnificent, Godly voice, but he also has been training since he was 5 years old and is now working towards his PhD in Music Theory, also has sung in 15 languages, plays 7 instruments, composes, models, acts, talks 3 languages fluently and is learning Mandarin. He covers almost all genres (I have not heard him attempt American Country, but other than that yes). He is a native of Kazakhstan, so speaks Kazakh, is fluent in Russian, speaks well in English, is learning Mandariin and has songs in about 15 languages. Continue the ride. You will not regret it.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. I do believe you have been Dimashified!!! lol I've known Dimash since February of 2017 and am still amazed by him, in relation to his massive talent and to his amazing character. Dimash is, truly, an older soul and has the ability to touch our souls, not just our hearts!!! I would recommend "Stranger", "Sinful Passion" and "Olympico". A little later, when you become accustomed to Dimash's voice, I would suggest "The Story of One Sky", a 16 minute film in which he wrote the script, composed the music and starred in. It's truly a masterpiece!!!! The man is a genius!!! Thanks for your response, Knox! You have a new sub!!!

Dimash train!!! I would recommend OLYMPICO and the Almaty Concert but the concert in your own time. It's like 3 hours but it's in his home country and gives a lot of information about him and context to his songs. It has subtitles to.

Aloha! Yes, Dimash is the greatest vocalist of Al time! No one has been or has yet been able to do what Dimash does! But another singer that comes close is Hua Chenyu; he is more up your alley. He is more a rapper-new age type who mashes genres together also. Jackdaw Boy, Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Bullfight, My Skateboard Shoes….to give you a variety of his musical talent. He is like Dimash in that way; he makes covers his masterpieces but no one can quite cover their songs. Enjoy the journey into Dimash’s and Hua Hua’s fantastical world! By the way, Dimash does rap as well.

One of the best French songs in my opinion, mostly because I love the original singer’s discography.
The title is ‘SOS d’un terrien en détresse’ which can roughly be translated to ‘SOS from an earthling in distress’ and it was written specifically with the requirement of 2.5 octaves because the singer that had to sing it had this kind of range.
He was named Daniel Balavoine, and unfortunately, he only interpreted this song once in public (in 1985) since he died in a helicopter accident a few weeks later, though we still have the amazing studio version.
Dimash definitely has a better range, and such an amazing voice, this song goes well with it, though I have to admit that he only sings it phonetically, and at first, being French, I was like ‘I don’t understand half of what he’s singing’ and it bugged me for a while, but that’s the past.
It’s definitely a great interpretation.

Dimash doesn't have a genre unlike other artists, he'll sing whatever appeals to him at the time and he's sung anything from Opera to Rap and everything in between. He's especially partial to funk and EDM.

So happy you found Dimash! ARMY here... but love listening to Dimash. His talent is no joke, and his voice takes you somewhere else. It's not my favorite performance of this song as there's a lot of production. There are a couple of others where it's really just him, the band, a microphone, and that voice.
