What a beautiful place, during what month was this visit? I've been told that April is a nice month to visit but if this is April then it's pretty hot during that time.

How do you hire private transportation for the entire day to Ninh Binh? I plan to be in Hanoi later this year, what company do you recommend for the hired car with hotel pickup and dropoff?
If you want to hire a driver for the day. The safest thing to do is hire them thru the hotel you are staying at. Also make sure you do not pay the driver. Tell the hotel to pay the driver once you have arrived back to the hotel. This is to keep you safe. If you need a quick ride make sure you install grab and choose the cash option as payment. This will get you faster pickup. Some grab drivers do not accept Credit cards. Let me know if you have any other questions.
