Do you have a list of places & things you stayed & did in Ninh Binh that you can share with me? We’re going this summer and your videos are very helpful
Imagine being in these places 100 years ago as an explorer, adventurer. I look back now and I'm so glad I did my world traveling in the 70s. I remember there were no guidebooks at all. I am now in my 70s and planning soon to return to Vietnam for the third time.
My wife is from the Philippines, and she says that Vietnam reminds her of the philippines she wants to go to Vietnam, and so do I. Beautiful video guys.
I’m loving your Vietnam series. Guess I need to add this country to my bucket list! Our family just returned from Death Valley National Park this week. Your guides and You Tube videos were very helpful! Thanks for great content!
Hello Adventurers, I've been watching your footage in beautiful Vietnam...WOW!!! Awesome boat rides and cave tours on a boat?? And walking all those tiring steps...and that delicious food you've been eating...WOW!! This was OUTSTANDING!!
Trang An is a place that can help people return to their childhood. You should come to Trang An in the summer, feel the space, the breath here. Enjoy a cup of coffee on a summer afternoon by the fragrant lotus lake with a fishing rod. You will feel the pace of life slow down and enjoy it :)
This country just gets better and better! So gorgeous! Thank you so much for taking us on the journey up ALL those STEPS!! What a fantabulous view! The food looks scrumptious and I was so tired by the time we (you) got back! lol The ride in the boat was beautiful as well. What an absolutely beautiful country!
Incredible video, the views are astonishing!!! The Vietnam has peculiarities I never had seen. You both are blessed for enjoying this gorgeous scenario in first hand. I smiled all the time watching. 🤩👏👏👏👏
The video production keeps getting better. The aerial shots of the hills and great choice of the bungalow away from busy city. Vietnam country does a great job for outdoors trekkers. If you get the chance , not sure if you've video the old imperial capital Hue and also Luang Prabang, Laos (the spiritual capital of that country) for more street food and where the supposed peaceful people don't go to war or get aggressive...
What an absolutely gorgeous area of Vietnam! Those stairs were sure a great workout! Your hut was so cool…I loved it! You guys do such a great job showing wonderful places and make it so fun!
The views were absolutely stunning with the lush mountains and the boat ride looked so peaceful with beautiful formations inside the caves. I appreciate that you get out and explore and take us with you. Lots of steps to the top of the lookout. You two are in excellent shape and make it look so easy hiking, walking, bike riding all over the place. Love your videos.
Your entire series from Vietnam has been wonderful but this episode was a favorite. You definitely added Ninh Binh to my must do list for whenever I make it to Vietnam.
Wow, watching this video was like a weird deja vu. We went to Ninh Binh in September, and we also stayed at the Trang An Lamia Bungalows, and even stayed in the same bamboo villa - though the one next to yours. We even hiked up to the top of Hang Mua in the morning to beat the crowds. The rocks up near the dragon were crazy sharp - I took a chunk of skin out of my big toe cause I was wearing flip flops. We even took the exact same route on the boat tour as you in Trang An. When you said it reminded you of a Disneyland ride, we were freaking out and laughing cause we said it reminded us of Pirates of the Caribbean. We rode the exact same bikes you did, and I dropped mine with my dslr in the basket and it shattered the lcd screen. Thankfully Sony has and electronic viewfinder, so we could still use it the rest of the trip. It was really bizarre when we saw the b-roll of your camera in the same exact basket. Seriously wild viewing. Awesome video!
i'm so happy to see the new upload, the editing skill is top notch esp the part you show the temple with the music (for a second, i thought i was watching a movie). Vietnam is so beautiful and glad both of you get to enjoy it, i hope this journey never end so we get to watch some more of the great adventures
kathryn, you are so articulate, have an infectious enthusiasm and know how to transmit the local vibe to the viewers-thank you to you 2-i guess that you have done a lot of research to be able to pick the right places to stay
I honestly had no idea Vietnam was so beautiful! Now I wanna go! I love how y’all try to acclimate to the local way of life, hard to do in a brief period of time. 😊
Your channel is great with very true historical knowledge, don't miss Cat Ba, Ha Long, Ha Giang, Mai Chau, Sapa, steep waterfalls, they have natural scenes and different food and architecture from In the fifth region, there is a very interesting culture of other ethnic groups
Who has to go back and get the camera on all those stairs? Lol! Vietnam just moved to the top of my list of must see countries. Excellent video! 😍 (that fall at the end though 😅)
❤❤❤ really really thank you so much for visit Thảo Béo restaurant and highly recommend our restaurant!!we are so happy about that and your video are helping my family a lot because our restaurant outside of main Street.we hope to see you next trip in vietnam.best wishes to you.thank you so so much! Sending big hugs Duyên (Thảo Béo restaurant) ❤❤❤
INCREDIBLE! Every single part of this video was great, the mountains, hotels and cinematography were all brilliant. We are catching up on our A+K videos this morning and loving the Vietnam series!
People travel for many reason not just for fun: For self-healing, exploring, etc. Anyways, by visiting Buddha is always welcoming, it's a good thing. My dad kept telling don't waste time visiting him, but he always happy to see me.
Great videos ... i did the same 2 activities. I did #2 Tran An, and climbed to the dragon head. The Mua Cave was a small Cave to the right. There was also a walkway over the lilies...Ninh Binh is similar to Yangshuo/Guilin China.... my favorite karst scenery.
@Adventures of A+K Another favorite that I visited was Zhangjiajie (Avatar mountains filmed there). China is opening and so many great sceneries. The borders of Vietnam and China has the Detian waterfall.
Breathtakingly Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this and all your adventures! You both are adorable, interesting and professional! Thanks also for introducing schoandjoe to us. Loving their personalities and adventures as well!💞
We're so glad we could help! Be sure to check out our website as well! We have tons more Vietnam content including detailed guides on Ninh Binh and all the other places we visited in Vietnam! adventuresofaplusk.com/vietnam/
Love your adventures in my homeland of vietnam. Wishing you a safe trip back to vietnam and make more wonderful videos. Be sure to visit beautiful Nha Trang where I was born.
My parents were SO excited to meet you guys in Vietnam!! Thanks for saying hi to them and taking a picture with them! They love your channel! They always tell me that you guys remind them of me and my boyfriend 😂
Adams farmers tan in that tub. Perfecto..😂 Nihn Bihn is absolutely amazing. We stayed in a cabin as well when we were..just slightly worse. 😅 Coconut coffee is also easily one of the best things in Vietnam. And my 2 years living in South East Asian could be defined as "swe-angry"..😂 At least you guys still look good when you're sweating..we just look like a couple of wet dogs. 🐕
Haha 😂 dang farmers tan! Coconut coffee is ridiculous isn’t it?! Lol you’d think I’d be used to that climate coming from Houston but it got the better of me that day 😂
I’m baaaack! Not that you missed me…just shut up Brad! 😡…and leave a great encouraging and kind comment. So I have watched the last few vlogs from Vietnam…they are all incredibly well done! I must say the cave tours were quite adventurous…even a bit intense! Most of the food you’ve been having looks pretty good and some of it very good! The scenery is so so gorgeous! I just love the landscapes over there! Anyhow seeing you two have so much fun makes me smile. Your laughter and positive vibes are just the best! I’ve said it before but the amount of effort and research that goes into your vlogs and website is just incredible! You guys have a blast but I know it doesn’t come without great effort! Thank you for what you do and allowing the rest of us to live vicariously through your adventures! Btw, I’m sure Kona is missing you like crazy. I’m so happy to have discovered you guys several years ago! As the Romanians say…drum bun!
Been there, and it was worth the trip ! Forget the “caves”, ‘cause it’s just a tunnel under the mountain to an empty field that was probably significant long ago, but now is just a messy patch of jungle. The real treasure is the view from the peaks. Go up about 300-350 steps and the trail forks; one path up goes to the “Dragon” peak… go back down to the fork and back up the other path to the “Check-In Tower” peak, very famous photo spot. Back down to the fork, which also has a small shop selling bottled water, beer (!) and ice cream - which is wonderfully refreshing after climbing the peaks ! The views are spectacular…you can see beautiful rice paddies and farm fields below you, and also down to the river and the boats doing the under-mountain cave tours. If you made the trip to Ninh Binh, don’t miss the opportunity to add the “500 Steps” to your Vietnam bucket list !
If you guys ever decide to come back to northern Vietnam, consider going to Pu Luong as I watched a video earlier from "Keith & Dev" and it is absolutely beautiful there! I'm sure you can find more things to do if you ever want to visit northern Vietnam again as there's still also Sapa, Ba Be Lake, Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island, and also look at Yen Tu where Hello Hunnay went on her last video in Vietnam, which was all mystical and magical!
It looks so clean and neat with no graffiti. It is so beautiful but I couldn't take the heat!!!!!!!!!!!! The food looks absolutely amazing. I would never be able to figure out their currency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great video.
The currency took a bit to get used to, but once you get it in your head that 25,000 is about 1 USD then it's pretty easy. The hardest part is figuring out the bills! The 20,000 note is the same color as the 500,000 so you've gotta remember not to hand someone a huge bill instead of the smaller! I bet the heat would be brutal in the summer! Thanks, John!
Another amazing video, guys! I always love seeing videos from Ninh Binh (watched "Shot in the Dark Travel" where they ate a remote-looking restaurant on the side of a cliff there and it was really cool). How awesome that you guys were able to get the dragon shot to yourselves. If you had gone later, you'd have to push tourist off the karst top for those shots. LOL! Fantastic, magical, mystical views all around that area.
Ya we prioritized getting to the dragon as early as possible to have the best shot at having it to ourselves! We saw that it gets crazy packed! A restaurant on a cliff sounds fun!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Sorry to mislead you, but it wasn't on a cliff...I should have said it was set up against a cliff where you can see the rocky surface when you're inside the restaurant. LOL!
What amazing scenery!! WOW!! The boat tour, route 3, looked rather busy but I can see why it is popular. I am curious how many Americans you've encountered on this trip, or where many of the tourists are from. Thanks for the wonderful trip. Until next time... Travel safe.
The boat ride was awesome! We went as early as we could so we could avoid as much of the crowds as we could. From what we read the small crowds we encountered were nothing compared to how crowded it can get We didn’t encounter very many Americans. There were a decent amount of Aussies and Europeans though Thanks!
I loved this! I liked where you stayed with the round bed, the bathroom with a bit of nature was neat! I liked the rice like cracker to dip in the soup. It sounded so good!
How gorgeous!! Thank you again for showing parts of the world to those of us who can't or haven't gotten there yet! Also, I was wondering about what would happen if a bike tire went out - does the rental company/accommodation company include a spare or tools for a fix?
Absolutely loved every bit of your vlog. So graceful and meticulously done. Taking us through every important detail. You Deserve a million likes. Vietnam is so beautiful.. straight out of heaven. I plan to go this December. May i ask if Trang An Will be ok to visit? Also is it required to engage tour guide for trang an or easily done on our own? Thanks again for the beautiful content.
Glad you enjoyed it! We have a blog post on our website that covers everything you need to know! Yes every boat has a tour guide. Unless you have your own boat you have to use a guide. Not even sure if you could use your own boat adventuresofaplusk.com/trang-an-boat-tour Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
I’m sorry it took me 4 days to get to this video, but WOW it was worth the wait! Beautiful boat ride, temples, caves and your accommodations incredible!!! Curious of your” Bike” adventure coming up! Always love the bloops! Great video guys! ~Cara 😊

Ninh Binh has cultural vibe, Ha Long has tourism vibe. Anw you got the best choice for this tour by buying the whole boat ticket
That’s a great way to put it!
Wow very cool adventure. Take care. 😊
Really enjoyed this video and love your positive attitudes. Thanks for sharing and including the prices.
Thanks for watching!
From what we read the small crowds we encountered were nothing compared to how crowded it can get
We didn’t encounter very many Americans. There were a decent amount of Aussies and Europeans though
Thanks!
❤ Amazing.
We so enjoy all of your videos.
Thank you
❤️❤️
Nice bike, Adam. he he Thanks for the video! Looked like a fun one!
haha yeah I'm glad it held up for me on the journey! I should've checked the tires before I took off
Thanks, Bert!
Wow what an amazing video :o That boat tour is something else tho. Makes us feel small in the hand of natural . Anw love from VN
The boat ride was spectacular! Thanks and thanks for watching!
You made the right choice! I've watched all the Ha Long Bay videos, this was so much better!
I loved this! I liked where you stayed with the round bed, the bathroom with a bit of nature was neat! I liked the rice like cracker to dip in the soup. It sounded so good!
We had a blast in Ninh Binh!

How gorgeous!! Thank you again for showing parts of the world to those of us who can't or haven't gotten there yet! Also, I was wondering about what would happen if a bike tire went out - does the rental company/accommodation company include a spare or tools for a fix?
We’re thankful and lucky we get to see and do all that we do!
The bungalows offered to come get us or bring us another bike if it stopped working
i will go to that place this year and i will follow your steps thanks for the video

Not even sure if you could use your own boat
