    I’m taking the exam on Sunday and the video was extremely helpful!
    However, I’d like to give some extra tips about the numbers.
    1) About age. If you have for example, 28 years old, you can always say: “She/He is at her/his late 20s.
    2) If you have 500.000 you can say half a million
    3) If you have 10 years you can say a decade. ( 20 years, 2 decades etc)

      Yes, Vicky this is exactly what the examiner's want you to do!!!!!!! what you have come up with here is absolutely perfect!!! We would say "someone is in their late 20s." Good Luck on Sunday!!!!

    Hello I just wanted to ask you something... I will give the exams this summer and now my GCVR is at about 67%,my listening about 80% and my writing mark B (pass). About speaking i need more practice... Do you think i can pass the exams with these marks? Are all these marks over passing point? Please help me!

    • @REALENGLISHOnline
      @REALENGLISHOnline  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, certainly you have a good chance of passing with these grades. I would definitely do some work on your GCVR to see if you can get your marks up here!!!! Always spend time learning from your mistakes in this section of the exam and your marks should start creeping up!Hope this helps!!!

    i have a question... do we lose points if we do not paraphrase the points given to us? I’m asking because so far I’ve been forming sentences without even bothering to use my own words.....

      Examiner's are looking for language independence, which means they expect you to be able to use and speaking using your own lexical resources and expressions. So, do not totally rely on the prompts word for word, try changing the vocabulary and grammar if and when possible. It is a good ideal to spend time practicing this skill.When you are under pressure it's not the easiest thing to do.Having said that, you won't fail just because you don't change the prompts but it will cost you mark!!!!!!
