    I have just subscribed in your channel just to be able to comment! I am an English teacher myself and I find your videos and recommendations superb!!! You give so vivid descriptions to everything you say that I could hear you for hours! Tremendous help both for teachers and students.Keep up the good work!!!!

    Why would you want to take notes of your partner s points in part 2?

      It is very important because in stage 3 you have to compare the two options that you and your partner chose at the end of stage two. During stage 3 you are not allowed to look at your partner's options, so unless you have an impeccable memory, you won't remember what your partner said during stage 2. Some short bullet point notes of their options solves this problem and gives you more to discuss in stage 3. This is also one of the reasons that you are provided with a pencil and paper at the start of the test. I hope this makes sense:))))

      @@REALENGLISHOnline thanks for replying... but why would you need your partner s points of his recommendation? He will tell you the pros and cons of his option in stage 3 as well...

      Yes, they will, but you will be relying totally on them. Having notes means that you can ask them about their points and also gives you time to consider their points. Remember in stage 3 you aren't just meant to talk about your points and then the partner about theirs. You are actively meant to discuss each point and compare it to a point in the other option. Again, notes/ or brief bullet points will help you do this.
