  • got inspiration from MVL and hikaru doing it in a skittle game from 4 years ago, recorded this against my teammate in class in a time control of 1+1 bullet which was fun. while my friend did make 2 illegal moves and i noticed that the knight wasn't a check, i still managed to input this as an actual game which you can check here although it isn't really high or precise at all lol

update - ONTO 100K VIEWS thanks so much guys
OLD comment - haven't gone to any OTB or played any online games for about 7 days and feel way better, next week there is no school as part of my thanksgiving break. on this first night i am grateful to each and everyone of you who support me and what i love. also as some context to this, i gained inspiration from watching hikaru and mvl play it and a couple of days ago during lunch we tried to play chess in the office.
problem was the counselor who is our chess sponsor was having a meeting so i didn't want to be rude and instead took the bag from the detention room which unfortunately didn't have a board and so i was like "eh screw it, lets just play chess without a board" and then ever since i kinda was having fun doing this lol
ORIGINAL video i got inspiration from - th-cam.com/video/mtvyX6F9Q0k/w-d-xo.html
#NoBoardChess also have an awesome thanksgiving break guys for all my fellow Americans :)

A: No I just didn't notice the attack so I moved the pawn 2 squares hanging my Queen .

And with the help of pencil, I marked K W for White's king, K B for Black's king and same goes on. And for pawns😂, for white, it's simple, just white round folded small paper and for black pawn, I used a red flower leaves, tear in pieces. Feeling nostalgic.

This will constantly reduce the size of a board (the board will always be a rectangle just big enough to fit all the figures on it and spaces between them)

Nah the bishop on e7 sees h4, rook is on h5 (which u can tell because of his h pawn moves from earlier)

My friend and I hiked to the top of a mountain, and played a game to a draw in our heads speaking the moves out loud while resting and enjoying the view, while our other friend was like what the actual fuck. Problem is, you cant really record a video like that unless you do an overlay board afterwards, so we never thought to record it.

It's nice because you don't really have to decide how many spaces to move your pieces, but sucks because your opponent can.

For anybody wondering: That's the game:
    1. e4 d5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. d3 dxe4 4. dxe4 Qxd1+ 5. Kxd1 Bg4 6. Nd2 Nc6 7. Be2 Bxf3 8. gxf3 g6 9. c3 Rd8 10. Kc2 e6 11. Nf1 Nd7 12. Ne3 Nb6 13. Bd2 Rd7 14. Rad1 Be7 15. Bb5 a6 16. Bxc6 bxc6 17. b3 O-O 18. h4 a5 19. h5 gxh5 20. Rxh5 Kh8 21. Rdh1 Na4 22. Kc1
Note: On move 18 black played g6, but since g6 actually already had been played on move 8, this was an illegal move, and instead I just put a5 to get a working PGN lol
Also, At the end, they both though black could play 21.(...) Na3, which is not a legal move either, since the knight ws on b6 and not b5. So, the knight is actually on a4 at the end.

And also, he played d6 at the start, and then they both assumed the pawn was on d5, which it was not.
