Nothing is more fun than trying to fix stuff on an old truck that reminds me of the old Century light medium duty setup I have the Chevron variant which was a little bit heavier Duty it was rated a little heavier but for the most part it's the same now if I'm not mistaken those chain blocks on that sling bar should be 3/8 but yet again I could be wrong they could have been wallowed out to
You should of seen how worn all that stuff was a dynamic truck I ran. The company did not want to fix anything. The Swivel got so worn the pin snapped on it When I had a car on it amazing nothing fell off. in FL there is a good hydraulic place that makes pumps.. for allover that fixes tow trucks car haulers anything really. They are good and really its not terrible expensive for what they do. Wheel lift parts are a pita. What holds the pin on for the cylinder just a snap ring?
Dynamics were meant more to be repo trucks than they were anything else that company I never really seen them build anything heavy heavy duty too many moving parts
@@GhettoWagon it’s a shame that company owners don’t take care of their equipment. There’s a company by me that does hydraulic repair and stuff like that and they’re not crazy expensive. The pins are held in place by those ring clips on the ends.
Well done... these kinda repairs can be tedious & frustrating at times (getting seized pins out), but it's satisfying to beat it.. plus.. you KNOW it's virtually brand new & won't hafta deal with it for many years! Can you engage the PTO at idle? or does it automatically kick up to high idle? kept thinking it would've been easier to feather those tiny bumps if it was @ slower pump speed. Trucks lookin' great & almost ready to start paying for itself! Happy for ya buddy!
@@woody4u247 thanks! Once I turn the pto on it idles up. Gonna see if there’s a way to change that. Would be nice to have it at a regular idle when I’m working on it.
Nice! My wheel lift just tripped out on me, its stuck up, everything else works but the down function no leaks at all, would love if you could give me some pointers!

@@Pyro4100 I think the hardest thing on this repair was the stupid pins for the hydraulic cylinder. The chains fit the sling are 1/2” big boy stuff 😂

I used seam sealer on my pads ,
I just used what I had.
@TowMan127 yeah no doubt, just sharing what I used, I'm sure both will work fine,
@ 10-4! That’s why I added the metal plates in front of the wear pads to help keep them in place.
