In areas with few or no hydrants, water is brought to the fire by Tankers. The water is placed in a portable tank and "drafted" and used by a fire engine.
Watching to fill in gaps in my understanding but between the music and sounds of operations, I couldn't hear much of what was said. I would recommend over-dubbing the commentary. Before looks to be a solid video.
Thank you for the input. For clarification, however, this really wasn't meant to be an instructional video. It was really just a way to show the general public that what we do is more technical than they may realize. We didn't expect them to understand much of what was said, so we didn't focus on making it that understandable. We can certainly understand how another firefighter would want to hear what was being said, however. Thanks again.
Oklahoma City Fire Department, I have to agree with a prior comment, why the jet siphon, AND pulling the primer? One or the other would be fine. No need for a jet siphon in this situation at all. Also, why leave the LDH Intake relief valve in place? That is multiple additional locations for potential air leaks, plus with the 4" storz, you have seriously restricted the intake volume of the hard sleeve. A very innefficient setup.

Is there a filter in case you have to draft from filthy streams or lakes?
those filters are more to just keep it off the bottom of the tank. They make different ones for use in streams and lakes.
