Bit of bullshit going on here. I was there that day, it was an old 3rd Division game. From memory the crowd was only about 10,000 in total. Millwall did have about 150 that day, but to say Cardiff had 2,000, well that's a feckin' joke. We, Cardiff had about 200 that day and a lot of those were school kids aged around 15 or 16, hanging on to older lads coattails. What this guy says is just total and utter bullshit. Some City came out of the Bob Bank in front of Millwall who were in the lower Grandstand. The majority of City came out of the Grange End behind Millwall. There were skirmishes all along Sloper Road, where the ground is situated, and in the park opposite. The Old Bill were well on top that day, and small skirmishes continued down Ninian Park Road, Tudor Road and to the main train station, where there was a bit of a scrap in front of it, but nothing like this demented bloke is going on about. I heard after that a larger group of Millwall did attack a small number of Cardiff fans waiting to get back to Bridgend, at the central train station. That's about it really
I remember that day, that 'Bushwhaker' must have a good imagination, Millwall took a right kicking all the way to Cardiff Central, mind you we (Cardiff) got batterd at the den, in an earlier fixture, we had to travel travel home with every window on the bus put through, good times.
Was there that day millwall turned up on the train got put on double decker buses to the ground ,opened the emergency window upstairs and threw the seats at us as they were going down ninian Park Road, some sloped off from the bus down by the ground and went in to the old club house behind the canton stand ,they got battered but stood their ground ,at the end of the game it kicked off all the way to the train station ,we didn't have anywhere near 2 thousand more like 300 but fair play to millwall very game ...
