My son is half Indian. Im half Spanish and half Irish but born and raised in the UK. My partner was raised here and her family came here from The Punjab in the 1970s but they integrated into British society. Many recent migrants that come into this country do not do this. Its easy to be a socialist who welcomes migrants living in Hampstead than in Harehills! Im not against any asylum seekers coming to the UK who are feeling genuine persecution, but they need to be vetted and need to be more women and children than just fighting age males.
