I feel so proud that someone that is a positive model for a race that's seen as terrorists isn't afraid to address the issue. I'm even more proud that Tan is the person that's doing it.
I love this interview! So chill and relaxing! I like the vibe like the host seems so natural and also tan is so cool and comfortable and lovely. ALSO let's talk about how stunning this man. He doesn't have a bad side at ALL. That face looks caved out of marble he's so good looking.
In England education *used to be* free. It was for our parents but now we're stuck with student debt. Still nowhere near the insanity of American tuition fees though.
4:15 "I take direction worse than probably anyone you'll ever meet" "Really??? You seem so laid back" "NOOO. i am. But when someone thinks they know better than I do... " "Hows that work out in your relationship?" "Oh, I am obviously the one whos the boss" 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 🤣
It's not as bad as the American student loans, and the arrangements are quite odd (only pay it back if you earn more than 21k/year, so you may never pay it back).. But it's not free per se. No idea what it was like when he went to university though.
Talks about growing up brown in a really white city in England... ends up moving to one of the most, if not THE most, white places in America lol. But I love that he appreciates Salt Lake, I'm proud that someone like him chooses to live here. :D
the thing with jeans is that finding a pair that fits perfectly is so difficult. Like some jeans fit perfectly on butt but are too loose on the waist ugh that's why belts.
The world would be such a better place if we all just listen to what Tan says about making an effort with your clothes. I feel like I can apply what I need to apply. I need polishing but I can put an effort and gain my life back in that area.
Bobby talked about this on "not too deep", i think, it's here on youtube. He thinks his story is still going on, so for him there is no point in writing a book, yet. The others all did, i think.
9:12 when I saw it I felt represented so that was an ode thanks Tan. Don't beat yourself up that you don't understand the trans struggle or that you didn't understand. You're fucking trying and I can see that very clearly in Skylar's episode
Check out the Ari Shapiro interview (an interviewer who actually understands that this is a job and that asking questions is a talent, oh, and does his homework). It's a WONDERFUL interview.
Love Tan! Unfortunately university education in the U.K. is no longer free and hasn't been for nearly 20 years, unless your parents have saved up it will cost students £40,000 plus to get a university education which most people fund via student loans.
Is that per year or the total for 4 years? That's roughly what average American Universities costs per year. Our Ivy league schools such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford and others cost even more.
jeni150023 I believe the minimum costs for fees is £9000 a year without living costs etc...so definitely not free, I think Tan is reminiscing about pre-1997 university education in the UK. I’ve also heard him saying in the UK people leave school at 16 which is not strictly true, you used to legally be able to leave full time education at 16 but most people go into full time non-advanced education either to prep for university or to do vocational training, apprenticeships etc...
I feel like Shahs of Sunset and Family Karma are never acknowledged when speaking about Tan’s experience as a gay South Asian man…. (Maybe Family Karma wasn’t out yet but Shahs definitely was)
i'm just thinking, there's the overall top best of yourself you can be, and the best you can be that day. it's a bit of a self-care thing, but sometimes i absolutely do not feel well enough to make an effort. i'll slap on my easy jeans, stretched out black jumper and be the best version of myself i can be at that moment.
Not anymore sadly, you get govt loans which you have to repay when you start earning a certain amount. So we have debt too, but probably not at the same level as in US
this interviewer was really natural and held their own with Tan without being cringey. more of whoever this is please!
Thanks Nathan!
Tan roasting the host for trying to be “brown” gave me life
I feel so proud that someone that is a positive model for a race that's seen as terrorists isn't afraid to address the issue. I'm even more proud that Tan is the person that's doing it.
I'm doing marathon for Tan's interviews
Same. I feel you. If you start going on a Tan marathon you can't stop.😁😂
Tian I’m marathoning Queer Eye video’s in general rn.
Me too!🙌🙌😄
Omg same
It's so considerate of him to give Tan some time to sip his tea/coffee. :D That's what I thought the whole time.
tan is so smoothly cultured. i'd enjoy watching him in a convo with the queen of england

“In England, education is free.”
*Cries in American student loans*
Cartoon High I actually don’t know why he said that its not true?

Cartoon High AMERICA GET ON IT
@@BookishBetsy You do realise, €9,250 is laughable for Indian people. We pay almost 200k USD for education in universities
It was free when he went to uni!
I loved this interview. I felt like I was just there having coffee with my friends. Now it's time to go buy Tan's book.
Thanks!
The host is great. Love the conversation!!
Kate Liang thank you!
Tan hating authority and not listening to authority is the biggest mood that I have ever seen.
Tan makes me feel confident enough to wear a French tucked v-neck T with my flip flops. This was the best Tan interview I’ve seen, great job!

In his defence people in the UK are much more open to showing their racism disgustingly.
One of the downfalls over here
I swear, I don't think I've ever enjoyed an interview more than this one. I'm impressed...and subscribed.
Tan, if Elle Woods can get into Harvard Law with a fashion degree...
He just picks up that coffee and NEVER drinks it 😡
Update: He drinks it at 14:53
This interview!!! Love it for the content and the flow was is natural. Love Tan!
This is a great interview! Well done I really loved the questions and the atmosphere. So chill and open
Tan drinking the whole mug full of tea, had me there..
"Blow dry to the heavens!" Love it!

As a British Pakistani I’m proud of you Tan 💕
I love this guyyy.
Great interview! Both relax and fun and now I need to get the book!
Old southern saying higher the hair the closer to god. Lol
Bravo Tan for speaking up for our people. Shahbash!! 👏
The world would be such a better place if we all just listen to what Tan says about making an effort with your clothes. I feel like I can apply what I need to apply. I need polishing but I can put an effort and gain my life back in that area.
Great interview and great host.
That was an amazing interview! 😍
GREAT INTERVIEW
when will jonathan, bobby and antoni release books, would be curious to know their story.

@@katfoxwell3995 oh okay, thanks for the info!
and by now (you've probably seen this somewhere), jonathan and antoni have released theirs as well!
@@xmidsummersky yes i have! i'm super proud of them.

'Id quit during my lunch break' lol
11:54 He looks too perfect like a Barbie doll that doesn't need work done but almost resembles David Bowie but not quite. Very cute.

Great interview
Great interviewer= great interview!
such a great interview! love tan! thx!! xx
About having a bad side I can see the naturally good side being shown off being better
Really interesting interview.

@@MaggieMMM Not free but still way less expensive than America. I paid $16,000 for 9 months of Vocational School
A very frank Man who see's fashion as art. Tan is Tan no other way to be :)
Awesome!
My guess is that Tan HATES Crocs 😏😅🤣 I want to see him talk about how he feels about them, LOL

He said so in the firefighter episode

Jennifer Aniston, rocks hip waited jeans.
why are the interviewer's hands white still though...

Education is free? Whaaat?
athanott in the uk and Europe typically
As he said, paid for from taxes
Not anymore sadly, you get govt loans which you have to repay when you start earning a certain amount. So we have debt too, but probably not at the same level as in US
uni is certainly not free in England anymore...
Yeah, I had to pay for my degree in the UK, so I was surprised Tan didn’t know that Uni is paid for. Maybe he didn’t mean higher education. Anyhoo
RIP the days uni in England was free.... student loan of £27k come at me bitch
13:22 I know that's why I never stand for the pledge of allegiance. Our country is fucked.
Love Tan but don't believe that being your most attractive or not is the only reason why someone will leave u
Tan's poor tea lmao
but many men DO have nice feet!
There hot
