- We thought we'd vlog our very normal (and a little bit boring - to us anyway) weekend when we have the kids. Ending the weekend with a Chinese takeaway and a film is the best!

Hello and welcome to our TH-cam Channell! We're Keegan and Joel, we're partners and we live with Keegan's kids, Tayla and Fletcher, and our dogs Ava and Fen. Keegan is an ex-professional Rugby League player and now runs his own coaching company, GMC (Gay Man's Coaching) and Joel is a voiceover artist and social media personality.

Tayla is developing a super sense of humour - such a confident young lady.
Loved it, you guys are great being such a supportive family unit. Tayla, you are a natural beauty so why hide it, oh and apparently a darn good soccer player, congratulations. Fletcher being able to cook up some eggs is impressive, and it sounds like you did really well at your game. Keegan you are right, we learn best from our mistakes, just wondering if he's getting enough sleep. Joel, hope you found a coffee spot that inspired you this time, and I was wondering how cold do you guys keep your house. Thanks again for taking us along, see you soon!

Tayla gets the Most Valuable Hirst (MVH) Award for this vlog! She was up, ate breakfast (she consumed a donut, which made my American heart feel culinary & cultural joy) & was prepared for her soccer match, taking Fletcher's super handwarming gloves because she KNEW she would need them. She scored 4 out of the 5 goals in said soccer match that her team won. Then she went and Dame Judi Dench'ed everyone's @$$ in her drama class. That class wasn't recorded but I just know that the drama teacher was left trying to figure out how to make Tayla eligible for a BAFTA award. The next day, Tayla fried rice'd & egg foo yung'ed the heck out of the Chinese takeaway, and then did a "Let me show you how this is done" slam dunk over everyone else by giving the outro for the channel asking viewers to subscribe, hit the like button, and follow on all the other social media platforms & threw in a promo for Happy Health Homo just to secure the MVH title. Tayla was operating on all cylinders and I was here for it! You go, gurl!

to your children: thank you for making part of your normal family weekend public. Showing quality time with your dad is something very personal.
But it shows others (children, parents and grandparents) that the pressure comes from outside.
I also know children from my circle of acquaintances who have broken off contact with their dad and, in one case, with their mother.
Was that an issue for you? Sorry if that's too personal.

Sleepy Fen and Traffic cone Fen ... He's so cute with his sweaters. And now Ava joining in with her new wardrobe. The two of them are so cute together it's ridiculous. Loved watching your normal family weekend. Makes me nostalgic for my daughter's soccer days - she's now a Jr in college and my son goes off to college next year ... goes too fast. (yes I called it soccer - guess where I'm from)

I love your parenting style. Making them learn to cook eggs. Making sure they have all their gear before leaving. Independence is golden skill for everyone. They look well adjusted. I wonder what they think of having a celebrity and TH-cam father?
I have to remember the kids play soccer, the kids play soccer.
IT is so nice that Joel gets along so well with the kids. Nice to see a happy healthy family doing what many families do. My parents usually fobbed my bother and me off to the housekeepers while they went out and did their own thing. I had two "Mom's" and it was a disaster. Not all same sex parents should be parents and many who are good ones. I am sure that Keegan's two kids will grow up to be well adjusted adults.

Thanks for giving us a peek at your typical weekend! Our weekends are usually quiet. It’s the week nights that are busy with rehearsals for my boys (one in band and one in choir and theater). Life with two teens is never quiet for long!

That was my life for 15 years. I have to say, I don't miss sitting in the rain during practice and games. I do miss the comradery of all the kids and parents, though.

WOOOHA! So much food on that take-away! I x portion of rice will serve three people. If two people want the same main dish, share one portion.
The other option is to fridge what you can't eat and microwave it the next day. (Doesn't really taste as good, but it saves money.

I really like the way you guys show average, everyday gay life. It’s important that people see this. It’s really important for young gay people to see it so that they know it’s a real possibility. Straight kids see it modeled by their parents (ideally) but many young gays don’t have that. You two are doing good in the world-and having fun doing it. Carry on.
In a few years (which will ZIP past) Tayla will be old enough to drive and you won't need to be the soccer mom any more. nice familly.
in the US naming storms is an insurance issue - if I'm correct , insurance companies don't have to pay for damages from an unnamed storm - but are liable for a storm with a name- hope I'm correct - love the vlogs - THX

Ohh Joel, our first disagreement 😂😂 Love the game of soccer! I played from age 6-19 when I was injured in college. So great to see the kids love the game!! I remember the days of running around. Driving my son to soccer and play practice!!
