Keegan, it's great to get to know you a little bit. I love the Dad jokes, the veggie chopper and how happy you are when you're with Joel. Relationships are all about compromise and it's going to be fun to see Joel fitting into your life, building a relationship with your kids and getting to know the area. It's going to be a little rough on him, so have patience! My husband and I got married a little older and we almost killed each other the first year. It's hard when you're not 20 and you're a little more set in your ways. So worth it though! You make a fantastic couple.

My kids (now 26 and 23) would definitely not eat shepherds pie and hated veg so I made them Finca Pie (Finca = Italian farmhouse (I think)) - spag bol base (with extra puree of carrots added) and mash made with potato and swede - a bit more taste and hidden veg. Still a favourite to this day. Pancakes was always a Sunday job - make double or triple volume of batter, layer the cooked pancakes between greaseproof paper and then freeze - you can bring out as many as you want and warm them in a few seconds in the microwave.
Keegan, as Dad, a gay man and as a human being, what a Gentle Giant, what a role model! There are so many stereotypes for us gay blokes, but like you, I've never signed up to any of them - most of my mates had no idea I was gay, even some of my closest mates didn't have a clue, some did lol. I've only just found Joels channel, which later showed me yours as a suggested - I'm set to watch a lot more, I like your non-bullshit, but human outlook to the negativity of social media, and clearly the world in general. It's hard to live with homosexuality and still be able to come across as just one of the guys. Being able to successfully keep the flaming part of yourself in check is no easy task. I admire that kind of strength and self-discipline in a gay man. 👍

I'm probably not your typical viewer/demographic (54 year old who sits at her computer a bunch for work... also gay so I love the gay content, too... like comments about the clientele at the home show lol)... I found you through Joel. And I'm certainly not someone who is training at the gym or doing sports, but I find your talks inspirational and motivational just the same. I'm just getting back to mobility after spending most of last year practically unable to walk. I'm just happy to be on my mini trampoline every day now, improving my health in many ways, and making progress towards walking without a cane like I used to... so I take little nuggets, like "listen to your body" and comments about recovery time as we get older, to heart. Thank you for showing us your "day in the life" and your kids seem awesome and I'm glad you get to spend time with them and to visit your nan. Sorry to blabber on... have a wonderful Christmas!

I'm using the DJI Pocket 2 camera which is great if you walk/run talk a lot because it keeps the picture supper still. Love the variety of this video, will be making notes for my own channel. My local gym is 24/7 and even at 11pm it's busy. I've only been twice in two years. I just can't seem to get back in there. Cheers.

Aren’t nan reminiscing chats the best. You will always be grounded with the kids there!. Love the eye roll from your son !. They are cute kids, they do grow out of the beige food phase eventually my son was the worst now he complains if he doesn’t have veg etc!. My granddaughter always wants pancakes for breakfast to, it’s one of those things you regret starting!. I work in a residential home and offered a omelette to someone who was off there food, now they want them all the time😂 circle of life I suppose!. This was a great vlog thank you.
