Your welcome! Btw, I think that the college campus [3:16] was from the fantastic four (first movie) set. "Therapy is where you go after this" Dude that had me dying 😂
2:07 is insane because the propellers create enough background to cast a shadow onto but are nearly invisible from the long exposure, making it look like these are all against the same background wall despite being different sizes and distances away.
BTW at 11:12 That Hospital is known as St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ also! I know, because I used to live by that ghetto, lol. Don't go walking down them roads at night. I guess every St. Jo's looks like that.
your channel is so chill, I came here for thalassophobia more than a year ago, but you talk about things I like, and the vives are pretty chill, so I stay, I really like that in this convulsed and frenetic times... hope your life gets better again and you keep doing this and growing... hugs!
Been a fan of yours for almost 2 years now, sir! Sorry to hear about the house, but I'm happy to see you continuously gather more subs! What are your thoughts on Subnautica 3, and it's concepts thus far? Apparently it's gonna be in Unreal Engine 5!
Honestly your liminal space photos were really good. The train station one was especially good, it's the perfect setting and the symmetry of it really lends itself to the uncanny feeling. It makes me feel like if I was standing there and shifted my view slightly to either side, it would reveal someone or something at the end of the platform that was previously blocked from sight by the pillar. Good job
That empty ferry was my entire life in the Navy. I was a cook, so when people weren't eating, the mess room was just empty. It got even worse, because I was on a supply ship, so we had MASSIVE living quarters to house Marines or rescued refugees. So when we weren't deployed, these rooms were just EMPTY, but we were still required to clean them of dust everyday. This was a ship in the Navy. This place wasn't just spooky. I SWEAR that ship was legitimately haunted.
If theres one thing you can do @GregBroDudeMan, its consistently make solid enjoyable vids. Props out to the editing as well. As a creator, I know and appreciate how many hours go into a little 15min video.
Dude...but I love the tangents and anecdotes. They're so fun, and add a whole extra dimension to the media you're reacting to. It's like having a few mini story times in the middle of one big story time. :D
Re: The dementia center: The point isn't necessarily to make it feel outdoors, it's to make it feel like it's from the 1950s-1960s. They've found that dementia essentially doesn't touch the memories that are from the height of a person's brainpower, which is usually teens through 30s. It can, but it's not as common. So, when they introduce music from these eras that a patient likes, and surroundings that they would've spent time in back then--like a mall or a park or something--it helps calm their brains and they can function more clearly for a time. They spend the day doing various activities like quilting, knitting, board games, painting. There's this amazing video of a basically catatonic dementia patient. When they put headphones on him and play his favorite song from his youth, he comes alive and starts moving and singing with it, and for a short time after is able to answer yes/no questions. It's such a cool therapy.
Watching this on my break while I do an overnight shift at a grocery store. It’s a mess while we work and empty boxes litter every isle, it’s kinda liminal lolll
Tree falls on your house, then you go make a lot of people's day with another great video. Shows the kinda person you are man! Really hope things get sorted quickly for you though. Calming vibes!
It's true you can find liminal spaces everywhere. I took a picture of a pretty liminal space of a hallway to a emergency exit. It was the hallway to the bathroom at Chipotle
I don't know why people complain about your side stories. They're a lot of why I watch. You, as a content creator, are why I like this channel. I don't mind your side stories at all. I actually enjoy them and would like if your videos were longer because of it. But I just wanted you to know that. If you feel you should try to stay focused, that's fine too. It's your channel, do what's best for you. But just know, some of us want to get to know the creators we watch. Thanks dude!
For some reason, I want Greg to react to the paintings of metaphysical artists. Such as: Chirico, Carra and Morandi. In my opinion, they are a kind of pioneers of unnerving images.
2:52 - This freaks me out not because it’s a liminal space type photo, but because I swear on all that’s holy I had a dream about that place in a college setting recently 😳 Uh, I’m having a weird deja vu moment…
I just discovered your channel by looking up videos about the ocean at night, saw your thalassophobia video and now I'm here. I love this style of content
5:36 the building in the middle of this Pic is the building where you walk on this high selfmade crane-bridge with Abby and lev from TLOU 2. The building in front right is the building Abby and lev falling into the pool.
I watch your channel primarily for the chill commentary. Please continue to tell meandering stories while showing us strange and creepy pictures, you have a very relaxing voice. There's entire too much screaming in most reaction videos and you saying things like "do you guys remember those creepy trees in the McDonalds playgrounds?" or "my friend actually lived in a house like this" gives your videos a very comfortable, relaxing feel. Even for liminal space or thalassophobia.
I've been following you since last year now. And I don't know what it is, but I love your humor so much. The really calm vibe in your videos is just what I need from all that everyday "loud" content. Great content Greg.
loved the night feeling video. connected with that concept very personally this one was another stellar liminal space! Loved the snow photo you took it definitely had the vibes of familiar and cozy yet off. Always loved that affect snow has
Mans house gets pulverized by a tree and he still manages to pump out a banger video after defining liminal space for the 100th time for the sake of new viewers. Hero status.
I'm so sorry about the tree situation, must feel weird and sad to see your home destroyed. I'm glad you're still able to make videos! Hopefully you get everything sorted smoothly.
also when you're in a really tall building it's super quiet. i was in one for the first time and there's no sound of traffic etc because it's so high up. so it also sounds like there's no-one around.
12:14 i don't know what to call this but this is my EXACT PHOBIA...add some mild flow of water and electrical humming from further into the tunnels to the mix and im straight up passing away on sight‼️
11:11 first of all, youre my comfort youtuber, second i was born there, third, im sorry about your house and fourth the time is exactly at 11:11 which is ny angel number. FREAKKYYYYY
I loved everything about this video! It was so chill and interesting and all the photos were so cool and the commentary was funny and interesting! I even liked the intro lol, hope ur living situation is resolved by now!
8:46 That explains a bit about why the Madness series looks like it does, among other things. Good choice too, don't have to add a lot of background detail Edit: 10:45 And then we have a freaking Clown hotel, freaking Madness and freaking Nevada
The office building where I got my driver's licence is just entirely yellow. And not the backroomsy kinda yellow, a full on eye burning simpsons yellow. The floor, the walls, the furniture, the doors. I got there in the morning and there was no one there. It was extremely eerie, and that before I had to get my test lol they really don't want you to succeed. On a similar note, one building at my school had burgundy walls and the floors were chartreuse with this strange bowling ball glow. Again, very uncanny to be in there when it was empty. Unusual and bright colours can have a huge effect in spacious places, it just triggers the agoraphobia in me, like these are modern buildings but something just seems off. And what's worse is that it's insanely common nowadays.
Love this content, man.. reacting to liminal spaces is my most favorite content on your channel! 🌃 The vibe, the aesthetic, the feeling.. what I like about liminal spaces the most is that every picture (real or AI generated) is different, whereas with backrooms its always "some kind of room" and there is nothing so special about it, you know.. so please keep this series as long as you can, because there are people like me who don't care that much about phobias etc. and would rather watch some liminal space content before going to bed at 3:00 AM 😄🤙🏼
That looked like a very big tree so I'm glad that you're at least okay and got out of there safe. Can't wait for the story on it. Also, quick side note: Don't worry about getting side tracked lmao
I like it when you get sidetracked! Still can‘t believe you‘re under 100k subs… you‘re uploads are so good! Hope you get recognized, because you are really funny
I had to watch The Cube in hs for a film study class. Its basically the backrooms but with 90's sci fi aesthetics, oh and the cubes kill you. Sorry abt your treehouse. I hope you find a new one soon!
YAAAAAAAY I'm glad you're back Greg! Can you play this game called stepmother emily next time you upload? Hope you're well That movie called cube is pretty weird
San Francisco in the middle of the night is eerie. Very different from NYC at night. My cousins were born at St Joseph's in Tacoma, WA. It is an odd looking one.
I still think someone should make a liminal space video game where you are in liminal spaces, the liminal spaces would be linked together in random ways and the game is all just you exploring these spaces
Duuuuude, I pass that St. Joe hospital almost every day. I call it the Dr. Seuss hospital. It now has other more recent (more normal looking) hospital buildings around it. I wonder how it looks from the inside.
Dude if you have never seen Cube set aside little time and watch it, think you'll dig it. One of my favorite movies has been since it came out. I don't know about the sequels but this movie is awesome Sorry about your house. I live in Florida and every time there's a hurricane I have this fear
The comments section is always so wholesome, thank you guys ☺️
at lest your girl friends nice to let you make videos still at her place also why dont you just move in with her
Np GregBroDudeMan.
Ive been to the sun room dining area irl.(I think) if im correct its a taco time just off of snowqualmie pass in WA state

damn dude that’s insane! I’m sorry for your home, that really sucks. Sending good thoughts your way that sounds so stressful.
Glad your ok Greg, another great video as always 👌🏻
*you’re
I love liminal spaces with windturbines or high voltage towers in fog.
"Are you a BEE?" for some reason just hit me so hard I snort laughed.

I haven’t seen too much specifics about it but I’m absolutely jazzed that they’re making another one! That will be a Day 1 play for me!
@@GregBroDudeMan my guy, we'll all be waiting!
3:31 that photo literally looks a showroom or something in an ikea or like a furniture store like it gives me that vibe

Than you for your cooking.
Glad you’re ok Greg. Always happy to see a new video posted!
I've always wanted to walk around a completely empty airport, especially at night. I think that would be one the most liminal places you could be.

04:37 This just makes me feel like I’m on my way to the main office to be yelled at by a nun. (That’s 1980s Catholic School trauma for you.)
7:16 was the best one. Something about outdoors or well-lived areas feels more aesthetic than liminal
