  • Making spicy tamarind balls using Caribbean sour tamarind. Check it out. This is a sweet and spicy snack that is popular in the Caribbean islands
    Ingredients
    1 cup tamarind pulp removed from the shell and excess broken shell removed
    2 cups of brown sugar
    2 teaspoons pepper sauce or small piece of raw pepper finely chopped
    1 teaspoon salt
    granulated sugar
    Please note that there are a few variations to this recipe. This is the one I like.

    Made my mouth water! You mentioned removing the outer shell but did't mention removal of seeds but assumed you did because when you where mixing it with sugar there was no sign of the seeds. How did you remove the seeds please because I find it quite sticky? Thank you
