Hi Tim! I am seriously thinking about buying a Nitecore NU27. But I'm concerned about its operating time from the built-in battery. In your opinion, is it possible to use additional batteries with it ("Nitecore Carbon Battery™ 6K Kit" or "Power Bank Nitecore 18650 Extension Battery Case") ?

@@sergii_rodin I'll measure the height of the NU27 headband and check to see if it can run off an external battery. I posted some runtime graphs on my blog.

@TorchHacker Thanks for the answer, my friend! And what external power supply did you test? I was a little worried that the power supply from Nitecore has a type-C with a hook (for NU40, NU43, NU50), but the NU27 does not have a hook for attachment (
And also the width of the head-band 32mm vs 26mm

@@sergii_rodin I used a USB-A to USB-C cable with a straight plug. The USB-A end was connected to a USB-C QC port in a PinePower Desktop power supply.

@@sergii_rodin The PinePower Desktop supply showed a current being drawn while using the headlamp on Turbo.
