Time for Tea with Anny, a Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences STP

Hi everyone, long time no see! It's been a busy few months and since I last posted people have been getting offers, so well done if you've managed to secure a post :) I spoke with Anny yesterday, a 1st year Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences trainee based in Leeds. I had no idea (surprise) what CPS involved, but it's one of those specialisms that is so important and if it wasn't going on in the background, the NHS would grind to a halt! They do a lot of the work with drug dispensing/measuring/reconstituting and work in radiopharmacy - making sure people that are having cancer treatment are getting safe therapy etc. They do their rotations in areas specific to their specialism, rather than going around e.g. Reproductive Science as a Genomics trainee. There is so much more involved than I had thought beforehand!! This is my first video back after a big break, so forgive any slips :)
