Well, you left out a very important step from this tutorial and I was wondering why my samples would no longer work after I turned my keyboard on and off. you need to save the sample data in a .KSC file.
Well if you think of it like a familiar computer layout, the top right drop down menu is your start menu and page select like your right click. Almost feels more familiar than a computer to me with the time I spend on it! =)
I'm a beginner with the M3 and your vids are priceless thankyou , but I was wondering why you don't use the Autoloop feature ? I used this and it automatically loops for you , cutting out any clicks etc ,, like I say I'm a beginner so was wondering if you had good reason for not using this option , realy want to learn this keyboard as I've moved from just Analogue , so its all a bit scary for me , but the Auto loop worked great for me
After all these years I now want to sample with my M3. Do I have to load the multisample from my pen drive each time I turn the M3 on, or is there any way it can load automatically? Thank you!
Thanks...Im about to sample my Harpsichord..it has 52 keys from BB- d3...if your taking requests maybe you could guide me thru the process..peace If all goes well, then I will sample my classical guitar & maybe some of the Prophet 08.
Great explanation. If you want do it in stereo, does it(L/R) need to be sampled individually or does it sample both channels at once? Also, do the post FX need to be applied to each channel or can you add it all at one time. Thanks for your help.
Hi. Great video for getting everything to work but as soon as I turn the machine off all that hard work vanishes. I had added it to a combi and saved it. I loaded the file back in after start up using media but it doesn’t work. All the time taken to create a sample is wasted if they vanish when switching off. Will you be making the most important video of all? How to use the sample you made in the machine forever and not just the day you made it? Can it even be done? Thank you
hey! I had the same problem! all you have to do when you are finished with your sample, is go to media, save, and save sample data. it should save it as a KSC file and all you have to do is load it up whenever you power on your M3! I really hope this helps you out!

Can you have a demo on different practical uses of m3?And on how to integrate the major functions sequence,combi,sampling on a live performance? Maybe a pop cover song?thanks man you're heaven sent to us noob's ;)
fear not, I'll be making an extensive list of tutorials once I finish figuring this beast out, I intend to use every bit of it's functionality (except for the sequencer but there's loads of videos covering that and most people have a million sequencers these days anyway) I have no use at all for the m3's sequencer
Hi great work thanks. they discontinued the m3 but i got lucky & got a new in box model cause i love the pads. can you tell me is it possible to out the M3's sound via usb or any other out put through my computer which is hooked up to a 7.2 polk home theater system & hear the korg that when? if anyone has info i'd be really grateful

YES, "full" Tritons (original "Classic"/Studio/Extreme) can all sample in a very similar way to the M3. ("Half" Tritons like LE and Korg TR Keyboards must have optional sample board installed to record user samples, but even without board can load existing samples via SmartMedia or SD memory cards.)

He rocks too fast .... and when I tried and pressed the rec button the message was that " File already exists " and the only option was to press OK .... tried to save it in Media or Ram ... the same

How do i save the presets ? Once i turn off my m3 everthing dissappears please help
