- Stormtroopers and Clone Troopers have many similarities! Both have white armor and both say "yes sir" a lot. But we've never really seen the two different troopers together. What other similarities or differences can you think of between Stormtroopers and Clone Troopers.

They are basically slaves trained from birth for combat and placed under commanders with no military experience who send them on suicide charges and are treated like living droids by the rupublic (and most jedi generals not all but most) then discarded

It's a joke. I know this isn't the first time you've made a comment similar to the one you have now, telling people Stormtroopers can aim. Yeah they can aim, but generally the joke is they can't and you can learn to accept the joke or do what you do now. Feel the need to write a comment when someone is clearly just poking fun.
I did get your joke but its very overused and some people dont know its a joke and they take it seriously. All I see when someone is comparing empire against some faction like the separatists for example. The empire would destroy the separatists no diff but some people say separatists wins cause stormtroopers cant aim.

Technically, clones can see out of their helmets, especially phase 2 armour

I know but I meant even with phase 2 armour they can see, not just phase 1, but I'd imagine phase 2 helmets has better visibility becuase the screen isn't so skinny

Little known fact. There are actually 3,547 troopers in this video. It's only Larry and the Clone Trooper we can see because they are the ones talking.

What I remember about the rise of the empire is is how quiet it was
Nice, this is perfect..maybe a story could be made between these two characters...mondain training exercise with the clone trooper to help larry learn how to use his blaster for something other than a paper weight...perhaps a second clone could be involved and larry could get them confused. (Conflict , comdey)..

The reason the rebels can't see out of stormtrooper armor when they steal it is because it has a biosigniture lock on it.
Basically, it records the troopers vitals and the unique way everything runs in their body, so when a rebel puts the armor on, it more or less shuts off and locks out... Which causes the HUD in the helmet to shut off so the person is literally just looking through the blaster filter the whole time
That's both hilarious and a very smart desing choice

The only real difference is that stormtroopers are human volunteers or human recruits. Clone troopers are, well, clones.

Clones can actually fight well as they are raised from the pod to fight (10 years of training) stormtroopers do not have that

@@Enterprise6126 despite having less experience , Stormtroopers in the lore aren't to underestimate , in stories where the heroes aren't involved they are actually real soldiers (not to mention few old clones troopers are military instructors who train the stormtroopers)

In the old lore ther was a mix of clones in the stormtrooper legion
Both clones and storm troopers are design wise iconic to me, i do prefer the clone troopers.
But had it not been for the battlefront games, i would've never admired storm troopers so much.

Different armor, different voices, different aim, different appearances, different divisions and branches, different commanders (in a way).
The Clone Troopers did have more variation than the Stormtroopers. Not to mention squads and more stood out characters like Rex, Cody, Fives, Echo and so one. As great of a character he is, the only notable Stormtrooper is Finn.
And the one who hits his head on the door.

Actually, clone troopers have deadly aim because they’re clones of Jango Fett who has the best aim. Storm Troopers have bad aim cause they’re not clones

It's a little more than that. The Clone Troopers have actual training and drills, whereas the Storm Troopers are sloppily cobbled together and handed a rifle to go do stuff.

I feel bad for the clone troopers. At one point, they are fighting and having a good time after the war. Then General Tarkin has all of them turned into stormtroopers or killed off. I rather be a stormtrooper because it would be cool to stand behind Vader.

Well here's the thing: the clone troopers have the better training, morale, and adaptability that allow them to become the best soldiers trained under Mandalorians and Bounty Hunters; the the Stormtrooper species may vary and they had the better armor and equipment when I can tell though with the regiment that the empire somewhat backfires as we all know. (Sorry Larry 😞)
However one thing for sure the Separatist Alliance / CIS have the Best Naval Fleet in Star Wars; only the the Empire, First Order, and Rebels combined could equal and surpass them.
@@TheGecko695 clone trooper armor have better defense against bolts because storm trooper armor were design for climate protection with their defense being "good enough" not stopping attacks but reducing them to be survivable without medical attention.

The few clone troopers that survived order 66 resent storm troopers mainly for frequently being confused for them. Their grievances include physical imperfections due to being different people, worse training and combat prowess, and their cheap, mass produced armor.

There actually is one crucial difference: the clone troopers had better training. Which is one of the reasons Storm Troopers are so bad at their jobs in comparison. Another reason Storm Troopers are bad at their jobs are their helmets, as commented on by Rex, a former member of the 501st.

I heard somewhere that the helmets of stormtroopers can be adjusted to the needs of it, so that joke that they can't see doesn't apply to stormtroopers. Maybe clone troopers but idk.
