No one seems to be talking about the strategic situation. Iron Sheild is a disaster. War is gathering of resources. Defense and acquisition of sources of resources. Turning resources into production of military equipment and money. I don't see any tactical options for Israel to change the strategic situation. Let's see. Israel spent 1.3 billion dollars in one night from a 60 billion annual budget and still lost an airfield. Thats not counting what their allies spent. They can't stop the missiles at the source because the Israeli government won't let the IDF have new planes. I guess the Israeli leadership don't trust the IDF because certain elements would start ww3 if given the chance. Which Israeli airstrikes into Iran would certainly lead to. Iran wins by simple attrition.
