Exactly, attritional warfare does not concern itself with the capture of territory. RF forces are conducting text book attritional warfare. In bringing more forces to these fronts, Ukraine is playing directly into Russias firetraps. Ukraine is outgunned, so concentrating forces and armour makes for far greater attrition. Russia is attacking with only a fraction of their force, with huge numbers of reserves waiting to be deployed if needed, or in the event of a breakthrough. Sumy works by diverting ukrainian reserves, even if RF forces don't attack.

Russia is struggling with conquering just 4 oblasts in ukraine less thann 400kms from moscow. In 8 years less than 6000 us soldier died in iraq. How many russian died in the last 2 years? You cant compare the two.

How I see as of now unless something shows up is the Russia reopen the old front so far with a division with some add-ons to it to both test the waters and bring AFU units away from other fronts for Russian units else where to rest or double down their efforts.

For someone like me, who watches all videos directly from my TH-cam home feed, all of the different formats are really confusing. I never know if I’m going to get a full video, a video that abruptly starts and ends, something I’ve already seen, or something completely different altogether. Maybe I’m in the minority, but my preference is to just have the whole video pop up once daily like the videos from every other creator that I follow. Viewers can easily skip the parts that they’re not interested in.

Attrition will not win the war for Russia. More troops will have to be mobilised. Numbers are more or less even - normally the invading force needs a 3:1 ratio over the defending forces. Putin has some more hard decisions to make.

This is perfect once a day on this channel. Maybe use the war channel for your media where you might use more risky video content. The things I think are important are don't repeat yourself you often want to express a certain point so you say the same thing 3 times.( we heard you the first time) Be as consistent as possible. eg length of video and time of the day you release video. Don't duplicate videos. Don't chase views. (When your videos are good, people will watch). Your personality and jokes are awesome, but when you try and be funny, the whole video it comes across as false. You often ask us the views of our opinions we give them, then you disagree and don't change. I find this confusing. Why ask ? Watch some other professional presenters like Tucker Carlson and note the way they present stories. I watched all the mappers since day one because I am super interested in this war, and I still think you do most comprehensive study of what's really going on. You just don't package it well. To sum up consistency, don't repeat or duplicate. Add variety and keep videos as short as possible. Open Mic is a good example of a winning formula. You have 5k views on a 6-hour video ? Why ? It's consistent around the same time every week. it's interesting because it covers history, economic, political, and all aspects of the war in Ukraine. I think your viewers and patrons support has dropped off because of these things, but I also think you can get it all back. If you get a winner in, let's say, the media segment, this could spark a revival . Anyway, that's my open that you asked for.

I like this "conclusions" format. As I'm not following every tiny development (out of a lack of time and interest), getting a summary with events put into context is great. Normally I watch one or two videos a week to get a sense of the current situation.
My beautiful Ukrainian wife used to live in this area. She curses the demonic Russian orcs, and so do I. We're having some Jimmy John's and watching Barry on Hulu.
