    I had to watch the movie twice in order to effectively and efficiently Factor it into this illusion we call our reality. Great video once again from you Adrian. Much appreciated

      @@metamorphosis_77 I was actually tainted by the rhetoric' avoid the matrix from your frame of thought' ,then that's when I watched it with curiosity

    Another really interesting video, Adrian. I too loved the original Matrix trilogy (have yet to see Resurrections though) and the Architect and the Merovingian (and the scenes you used) we among my favourites as well.
    The idea of the eternal recurrence, essentially a Nietzschean proposition as you rightly point out, is an underexplored element of the Matrix and I'm glad you gave it some light and attention.
    I find that the idea of fighting for peace is another important theme, which essentially concludes the original trilogy. The Architect and the Oracle have a final conversation about "how long do you expect this peace to last?" to which the Oracle replies "as long as it can", which also hints at the underlying nature for humanity to always be in a state of conflict with itself and that peace, for the most part is temporary, but we should still enjoy it, revel in it and aim for it, regardless. It is constant battle which requires truth seekers, anomalies, love, self-transcendence and the belief and application of free will.
    Happy New Year

    What would happen if he took both?

    • @H1tman13
      @H1tman13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either way both are rooted in the belief that there is either or. Self realisation is the recognition that there is no thing expressing as everything, non dual, beyond concepts and beliefs. Mopheus had to do this with Neo while still in the matrix to make the choice seem real. Thats why he says everything begins with choice. But even the choice is an illusion and so is free will when liberation is realised from the level of the absolute/the one. Neo was already the one but had to realise it through seeing what the matrix is hence Morpheus planting the seed of the red pill. Therefore sages who realise this, point people towards this truth. When realised, the matrix/maya/illusion still exists but the One sees through it and its limitations which a formed from concepts and belief systems. The movie Lucy is another pointer to the truth. At the end of the movie she dissolves the physical self and goes into omni presence, become nothing then you are everything. To become full, you must become empty, empty of everything you think you are or have been conditioned to believe. The divine paradox, Its the same reason why Neo fell when Morpheus asked him to make the jump between two buildings, Neo was using his mind to free his mind based on what he believed. He had to transcend the mind and undergo ego death to become the one which eventually happened in the hallway when Mr Smith shot and killed his physical body/mind.

      I've been thinking about ending races. In a good way, not writing that all races should end rather, if ppl. could/would lose/cancel that aspect of identity the world will not have those types of judgments anymore. We're all simply ppl. getting by on Earth. I self identify as a human being on Earth...for now...
