- A cold morning with the Wild Red Foxes as my photography target. Stay tuned for the images at the end of the video. The video also features Green Woodpecker and Fieldfare. This was my first real success at photographing a Red Fox close up and I was extremely happy with the result. There is nothing like Wildlife photography UK and I just love foxes. Hope you like it.

Thanks for watching Scott. I think the Fox just has to be my favourite and hope to capture some video at some stage. I was really lucky on the day just sitting patiently and the Fox walked up.

In the beach dunes where I used to live on Long Island NY... I was honored to witness and photograph fox kits growing up over a period of about 2 months or so. Awesome to witness them playing and interactions with Mom.
Sometimes she would bring them a pheasant, rabbit or skate to feed on, I have many pictures on Flickr and social media. For the past few years I have lived in eastern NC ....... don't often see fox about so the most common native wildlife I photograph these days are black bear.

great video! What is the best time you recomend attempting to search for/watch foxes?
Thanks. As for a lot of wildlife its first thing in the morning and last thing before sunset. Personally most of mine are taken from sunset until about 2 hours after. But always look out as wildlife can surprise you anytime. Cheers Keith

Fantastic video... And even more fantastic image of a beautiful Fox. I do a lot of fox photography... Normally involving hours of waiting just for a few seconds of shooting. Well worth it though. Flask of coffee and a comfortable stool to stop bum getting cold is key in the cold.. As well as plenty layers.
Try again mate... It's very rewarding I find an great to be out!

Great stuff! I tried photographing foxes on a path simular to this one a few weeks ago. The fox did make an apperance however, it was too far away for me to get a nice shot like yours.
Thanks BF Wildlife. I was very lucky I was low down and hidden when the fox approached. Saw the Fox again yesterday but it was off before I could do anything. Keep trying and hopefully you will get the shots you want. Amazing feeling when you do!!
