do you have any tips on how to see them in daytime for photography ? i live in northern irish countryside and see them on trail cameras\hear them at night , but i can never seem to photograph them in light

Not easy. Normally early morning at sunrise or late evening. Best time will be in the spring when they are hunting for longer hours to feed their young.

I think there is a USB port and a charging port, which look similar. Make sure you are using the right one to charge. If still no good get in touch with them and I am sure they will sort it.

Beautiful photos and video. I have been trying to get photos of kingfishers for three years without success, but still hoping.

Remember that encounter Keith, only had one at very close range in a natural setting in the last 40+ years still can remember it as if it was yesterday. The good light also gave it that little bit extra zing on its plumage. 😊

Thanks Glenn. Yes very special when you get that chance and it is not a set up perch. Good light was with me that day. Cheers Keith
