Excited about the new show! But with all your new shows it's making it hard to differentiate between SDP, the CJ show, and now Agent Provacateur in sub boxes. This is especially a problem when you upload clips or when I'm trying to find a specific show in the SDPN videos tab. Could you please make unique thumbnails for each of the shows for increased readability?

SDPN is the Steve Dangle Podcast Network. The name of that particular show is in the episode name.

Agree, thought the same thing today. More distinct thumbnails would be a great improvement.

It cracks me up that the coaches are talking to the GM, the GM is talking to the agent, the GM probably assumes the agent is talking to the player. The player has no idea what's happening behind the scenes. So screw it I'm just gonna play hockey. What an amazing story.

Love the insight from the show. Hearing about how Allen doing that extra bit of advocating for his client and one of the results being David mentoring the Tchachuk brothers got me thinking of some of Steve’s trade trees and the big impacts that resulted from seemingly minor moves.

A show like this wasn't something I knew I needed, but now I love it!
Also, few players have only signed contracts with 1 team, but have played for 5 teams - David is a lovely guy!

I've been listening to David a lot on french podcast On Jase over the years, and have heard bits and pieces of this story, but hearing this told from his & Allan's perspective was really captivating. What a start to this new podcast! Looking forward to next week!

Damn here in Winnipeg in the 90's for A1, A2 A3 hockey we basically got called in a few days after tryouts to the arena where the tryout took place and they gave us an envelope that contained a letter that told us whether we made the team or if we got cut. Never got to experience the whole list on a public board.

I made it to a couple days of the blues rookie camp Perron's first year, and he was head and shoulders the best player there. In preseason he was completely dominant, we all thought he was going to make the team. During the regular season he was a good player, but tended to hold onto the puck a little too long and then turn it over. He played like he was the best hockey player in the world and he just wasn't. You'd expect a guy like Crosby to circle the o zone twice without dishing, not dp57. He always had great stick handling and a nice release, but he wasn't a sniper, a distributor, or a crash the net guy. He was a stickhandle until he turns the puck over guy, or a stickhandle into the middle off the half wall to get off a shot kinda guy. Just seemed like he didn't know how to use his linemates. I think that contributed to him bouncing around several teams as it was just hard to give him a role on a line. When he went to Vegas he changed his style to more of a sniper and really hit another level as a player. He changed his stick blade and flex, and started playing more without the puck. He started getting into scoring areas and firing pucks. He did three separate stints with the blues and each time he was a different player. This last stint with the blues he's had amazing chemistry with oreilly who knows how to win board battles and retrieve pucks in the corner. Perron's shot has become lethal and he's one of the blues top scorers. His game just gets better every year and it's obvious he loves the game and works his tail off just by the way he plays. Also, I've never heard a bad thing from a fan about David perron. Oilers, Pittsburgh, Anaheim, vegas... He's always a fan favorite. But in saint Louis we like to claim him as one of our own.
