Personally I as a female find men attractive when they are sound of mind, a good heart, and take care of their hygiene and clothes. While it is biologically true it is all about procreation, what about men and women whose children are adults and either by death or divorce what are the attractions between men and women then? My friend's boyfriend is the same kind you're describing. My friend is kinda below the avarage on looks, and the guy is way way beautiful. I do understand why he choose my girl though. They're both smart and understand each other well. They both have dreams and career plans to come true. I don't talk with the guy so often but from the way she talks about him, I can say that he is the right one for her. Even though I don't understand what the hell they're on about. A fit well toned body is a must for me personally. Also I love a woman who can hold her own . Has a career and is independent in her own right . Clingy needy cry babies just turn me off . Also a sense of humour helps too.

I was reproductively fit my whole life (I am even lucky to have a daughter) but through my whole life hardly anyone ever was interested in me..all I ever wanted was to have a family (a partner and two or there children)..but it seems I was always invisible to men...sigh, and now I am almost 40 and my big dream, my big wish seems to fade more and more away...because when no one was interested in me when I was younger, why should anyone be interested when I get older and my fertility fades...I am very sad and my life and fertility feels wasted by humanity...
This is very sad to hear. Personally, I was raised the first 12 years of my childhood by my mother, so she taught me that I should always look for a good personality in a woman. That looks should always come secondarily.... so I am attracted to natural beauty cause it shows a lack of insecurities in their bodily looks, and I am attracted to personality which shows very simply if a girl smiles a lot it is very very attractive. Enough that when a woman is genuinely smiling and enjoys her time around me, I can feel it physically and emotionally.... almost nothing better than that emotional connection with someone else. I would hope you succeed in your dream but hope doesn't always get the dreams made reality so if your interested I would be happy to consider helping fulfill your dream in part. I can offer personal advice from a man's perspective and if I like your personality I'll even consider personally making you feel more whole in any way shape or form that I am able.

And yes, curly/wavy hair is really beautiful and very attractive because for me it makes a different movement and gives a person a feeling of youthfulness. My hair is curly, but where I live it is not so valued (Brazil). Here in my country, people think long, straight hair is beautiful. I don't fall into the madness of applying any product to remove/undo my curls because I really like them and I feel prettier this way with the curly one than with the straight one, which I've even used for a while.

This is because I am an identical twin, and my sister has the opposite facial features. The thing that is most important is humour and smile. Men love a happy woman more than pretty women.

Blame evolution, this is just basic biology. Women are only fertile for about 20 yrs so in terms of survival if the species it was important to know who were the young and fertile women. Many traits women want in men - such as a sense of humor - also relate to reproduction as witty men are more intelligent and creative thinkers, traits important for survival.
