- Logitech Z333 speaker unboxing + review . In this video I unbox some new Logitech z333 2.1 PC speakers I just bought for about $80 AUD for my Simulator setup and give you my full review, sound test, bass test and everything I saw fit to throw at them.
I have some Edifier M1360's on my main computer which I paid a little less for but there are some things I like about these Z333 speakers more.

Found out the hard way :( reached out to amazon support and expressed how i felt about it and they let me return them 6 months after purchase. Worth a try if you are as unhappy as i am about it. Crazy to think the same company that makes my mx master 3 also puts out some garbage like this.

Today my old Z523 gave up..had some troubles last months with the power/volume knob..and it ain't working at all no more.
Bought these back in 2009, so for a 13y old, which had been through alot, they did ok for me.
These were only 31Watt but were a blast for sure.
Now looking into the Z533, and these Z333's aswell, for the price...these truely look the part.
Love the set-up I need some new speakers I love that set-up the whole office look thing and next to a window I am moving out of my mom's soon want to get something like that nice Jason watching to add more comments I may want these speakers your funny too man good video, I think I may get these I play a lot of loud of the late 60's-90's and a little more music, audio files and videos all kinds vintage classic movies and stuff thanks Jason!
i plugged it into my 3.5mm headphone jack and received no sound but when i plug my actual headphones into the little knob with the subwoofer plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack i receive audio. I've plugged in my old speakers the exact same way and have audio, would anyone know anything about this? Would appreciate any help.
how do you think these would do if i were using them to listen to music in a larger room (living room/ dining combo) not sitting at my desk? I worry they might not be powerful enough to fill the room properly...
I bought it last week.The sound quality is good but the bass is somehow weak at medium levels.I gave it 7/10.

If you plug headphones in its controller does the microphone works?
Can it connect to the phone headphones jack to listen music through the phone?
How do these compare to the Logitech Z533? Are the 533 worth the extra money?
I also have the Edifier M1360 (I was so impressed when I tested it at the store) When I got home, I was disappointed with the bass. I loved the sleek design though. Used it for a year. Then I found out about the Logitech Z333 and waited for it to go on sale. Just bought it yesterday. I already felt the difference in bass. Glad I purchased it. My next target is the Logitech Z625 THX Certified speakers.
Without considering the bass, is Edifier M1360 good enough for an ordinary desktop computer? In my country Edifier M1360 is ₺335 and Logitech Z333 is ₺650.

hi, i also used edifier m1360 for the past few years. Now I just ordered z333 which is on sale around 40usd. Is it a wide choice ? Im pretty dissapointed with the m1360 bass btw.

had these speakers for 4 years now with no problems, just have them connected to my computer. only thing now is after 4 years, for some reason my sub is humming when i turn up the bass knob in the back, first time it's ever done that after all these years. so trouble shooting now trying to figure out. yep!
I think you need to make sure the cable is connected properly
How long is the cable for each satelite? I am planning on putting each of them on a speaker stand probably 2 feet away from each other and the sub will be at the middle.
about 1.8m cablelength with standard RCA connectors and as they are connected to the sub, you will have plenty of room to place them to your liking.
I am watching this video using the z333. I think I know what it sounds like..lol.. just bought it..i love it just a bit sloppy with a small on/off switch.
So this bass control, does it do bass for all the speakers or just the sub? I live in apartments and need to be able to kill the sub without also killing the bass in the satellite speakers. I am having a hard time finding a 2.1 that can do this that is worth buying. Might just have to settle for a 2.0 set of something decent.
I would think so because on the big stereo system in our house the nob can run the bass down all the way or up al the way but it keeps satalites bass
Used mine every day for 7 years. They were great but I had an issue when adjusting the volume up & down, the satellite speakers on mine didn't balance, the left side was always louder than the right.
What's the length of the 3.5mm jack cable?, The specs of every other cable is online but they never state the 3.5mm length.
about 1.5m iirc...dont want to crouch behind my rig.^^
but you can always use a extensioncable if you really need...in most cases its not needed.

I can't seem to get any audio on mine, what do you think might be the issue?
I have them for almost ayear now, they sound pretty good for their price and have served me well, although the cables are a bit short if you want to hide them well and you will need extensions.
My only complaint is that after some time, dust builds up in the volume dial and you will hear static crackling when turning it, you can fix it just by turning the dial many times and it will go away but only for a while and you will need to repeat the process.

or never turn them off, like i do. they go in stand by mode when they aren't picking up any sound for some time. 5 years now, 0 problems, even after falling from 1,5 m shelf.

You think canned air would do it good for the knob problem?
Even if the tweeters are fake/just decoration it still sounds pretty good for the price not that bassy for me but you can still adjust the bass becuase of the bass volume knob at the back.. still has good mids and highs anyway.. and i got one for 38$(US)
Logitech said that the tweeters are just decorations stated on their website.. nice review anyway bro enjoy your new speaker!

Bam boo z333 very good for it's price, tests of them really diffrent, bc you need to hear in person not listen a test recorded by bad mic

On the tech specs on the box is says the "tweeters are decorative" lol They don't do anything. I don't know why they would even include them then.

would ya say this is good speakers as in is bass good and clarity of the sound system since im using blasterx speakers atm but they are broken really would ya say it be close to the blasterx kratos s5 bass and all or would it be way different
That bass control means everything to me, bro; how would you rate the midrange? We have most trouble hearing dialog in tv and movies. Thanks!

is there any hissing noice coming from the speakers? i just bought the logitech Z533 and when its realy silent in the room u can hear a constant "ssssssssssss" noice and it's driving me crazy, i might go switch it for this one if it doesnt have the noise
It's the bass. Just turn them off when you're not using them
with the trust 2.1 you cant change the headphone level?

Hello guys i bought this speakers before 1 month and i notice that when i close my pc after 20-30 minutes i can hear a weird sound from woofer..if i open and close the speakers from the button in the volume wheel its stop.. and spear again
Well my friend i have logitech Z4 and i have always had the same problem, i now have a top spec' computer my son built for me everything's top of the range except the (Z4's) and yes i can still hear that same low hum, logitech have never fixed that problem only interested in taking your money. I now have a studio setup and speakers from Rockfield studios where he works my God I am in heaven , save your money and go for the best, if you have a specialist gaming computer now just wait a while and get the best!

So which one do you prefer, the Edifier M1360 or Logitech Z333? I noticed that you didn't replace your Edifier on you desk with the logitech at the end of your video.

Those speakers are actually 7w all that other stuff is malarkey same with Z407 and most Logi speakers.

Hi, it would probably be a simple fix for someone that knows the workings of electrics and soldering and alike however I’m not that person, I would just return it and get a replacement

Will...take a look at your Z333's Sub...what do you see? - Right. Everything is connected to it or gets powered from it as its the Sub where all the electronics are put in and where the Amp sits... and now go and show me a Sub that has all this and is specifically made to be in and power a 2.1 System...and has the right connectors, if you dont want to have to work on them too...
Also the Sub works very well with that system as hes made for it, they complement each other perfectly well, so even if you would be able to find one sub that could work with it...it wouldnt sound the same, also that are fairly low wattages we speak about, i mean 24W Sub and 2x8Watts for the Sattelites...most subs need far more than that and would easily overpower the small sattelites or blow them right up...that doesnt make any sense.
so either you find yourself someone that fixes that little problem, as its probably just a loose cable or so or you get your act together and sent them back to get a replacement, as even for the usually low price, they should atleast work and if they dont, return em or get it fixed, no need for silly and prolly expensive experiments. ;)

not sure if trust have better sound quality, but at least it will allow you to use them fully, unlike logitech that shuts down every 20min and you have to power them off and on again.
Trust Tytan is a piece of garbage. You hear only noise, not music. If you listen to rock music you wont hear the instruments accurately and clearly. Its nothing but the bass you are hearing. I had them this summer. Worst experience ever.

Yes, I still don’t regret it for the price
just get the Logitech - Z313 2.1-Channel Speaker System, i have had one for 12 years now still great, never blown. With the z333 your basically paying more money to make it harder to fit them on your desk. Also the z313 sub is serviceable! When i was a kid i took it apart and added leds. Even after that it still works.
The z333 sound is noticeable better
@@bamboo9666 funny cause I think they sound like pots and pans with an unacceptable amount of constant white noise playing at any volume. as well as a floor sub that distorts on literally any type of music too. but hey everyone has a preference.

Hey dude does this have enough bass? I mean I like rap and m thinking to buy one of these..
They have a lot of bass. If you put the bass at the maxim level it will be way to much for rock music. Around the middle its perfect. I guess for rap it will be good listening at high levels. This stuff has a lot of bass, but you can adjust the level of it.
Will these work on Win XP laptop?
As long as you have access to power and a speaker input into that laptop, yes

Spend a few Bucks more on these and forget about the M1360, you get so much more from the Z333's for the money.
They are louder, much cleaner and warmer, the bass is not to much and can be loud but also quite precise and punchy for its size and power and gets better leveling.
they are, for a reason, called the "maybe best 2.1 System for under 50bucks(us/eu) on the market"
i got mine for 40bucks in germoney, while the M1360 cost 35, so there is no question what to buy, as they beat the Edifiers in every way possible.^^

@@vc7415 no they are not, the Z625 is the Z623 just with some added optical input and they are NOT worth it!
Sure they have Power, have the ominous "THX Certification" and can get very loud...but that is all they have...
What they really have is: low build quality, damn much plastic, no real highs, overpowered wide muddy mids, a way to powerful Sub that also bleeds into the sattelites and vice versa, which makes some voices grumbly and awkward and distortes the sound even more, as the sub also is way to slow, lacks punch and is just grumbling, but far from precise and kicking...do yourself a favor and get the Z906 instead, even if you dont need or want a 5.1 System, they are much better and much better tunable, even when used as 2.1 or 5.1 just with 2 disconnected rears.
and just a reminder: bass is not everything and as much bass as possible has nothing to do with good sound. ;)
but if you really want a top notch "audiophile" 2.1 System take a look at the Edifier S350DB...you wont get something better than that at the pricepoint and it literally rapes the Z623/5 in every way possible.
and if youve got some decent headphones, go to "Digital Stereophony" and take a listen to the comparison between the Z623/5 and the S350DB...if youre ears are not just tuned to your smartphone speakers, you should hear a big difference, in clarity, precision, kick, resolution...even on youtube with all its evermore degrading compressions and while were at it, just look for "Edifier S350DB Soundcheck" here on youtube, you should find a video from Z Reviews...that will tell you, what real speakers sound like..^^

@@vc7415 Well if i had to choose between the two...i would always take the Edifier M3600D over the Logitech Z623/5.
Better Buildquality on them, much better highs, clear and not overpowered mids and a good but not too powerful and better kicking, better responding bass that is also better seperated from the Sattelites.
While I dont really like its design, its still better than the little crappy plastic thingis from Logitech paired with that cheaply made big rumblebox.
It can ofc not keep up with the S350DB, but also cost just about half as much and for that range, its very good and beats the Z623/5 by a fair margin...but be aware that they dont have Bluetooth if thats a point you need, but bring everything else thats important to get connected and can also get very loud.
tl;dr: Z623/5 vs M3600D? Take em Edifiers!
Could i DJ with these speakers?
I wouldn’t think so, you probably need something in a much higher price bracket that you can turn up much louder to a more open space and not lose the sound quality, these speakers are not really made for that sort of thing
