My friend has logitech speakers with subwoofer, and today I experienced the sound. Man, what a bass that subwoofer has. When I was home, I directly searched for a good pair of logitech speakers. I came out on the z333 speakers, and to be sure they are good, I came to your review. Well, you convinced me, and I'm going to buy the z333 soon!
Discovered the x230's about 10 years ago and as an audio mixer I was shocked at how good they sounded for the money....They sold so well that they can be found second hand for as little as $15, Ive bought about 5 sets of them over the years for myself and as gifts. I will always keep a few of them around as totally decent all round sound source.
I have z333 and i'm so satisfied with it, sound is really clear and has nice bass but i never cranked it more then 75% volume so it serves me longer :) and definitely worth the price
I've had the Logitech X-530 since 2011. While I know there are far better set ups out there I would have to say they were an amazing bang for your buck. I haven't felt the need to upgrade them, they really do sound great.
Hi! I just bought the Logitech Z200 since I don'T have much space on my desk. I think for the price they are really great! I also choose them after the looks and it looks and sounds great, so I am satisfied!
true. I was about to get the Z333 'til I realized I have to consider that my laptop is on the desk too. Also, I don't have a proper monitor riser or a monitor stand/clamp to properly sandwich my external 24" monitor.
I used it about more than a year and suddenly the right speaker just went mute. I tried to fix it but it's so hard to take the speaker apart. I ended up snapping the cables. So yea, I get what I paid for.
The Z906 looks pretty cool for a small home theater setup. The big advantage of it over the Z506 is the fact that it has optical inputs, that way you can hook up a game console or a bluray player to it. Also, I really like how it doesn't have a massive amplifier like a conventional surround sound setup does. My current surround sound setup is pretty bulky and takes up a lot of precious shelf space in my media center. It's way too big for my small bedroom, i'm honestly contemplating getting the Z906.
I think this was a good review. Improving the sound capabilities of both the board and speakers is a "money ball" method of getting more out of your PC. I think if you stay with Asus 1220 Supreme FX boards, you can get good sound out of built in solution. As to the speakers, I've had the Logitech 5.1 75w speakers since 2004. Mine still sound amazing. The 2.1 you unboxed would be great however for the living room PC. They look solid.
You have one of the clearest detailed review I ever saw, except that I didn't hear the actual sound. But even then, you sold me into buying one. I believe you and I'm heading to walmart right now to buy one Z333. Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much for this amazing video of the Logitech z333, I have a very very old speaker from Creative, so old I can no longer remember it's exact model, but it has it's own subs and for more than years it is still working. However, the volume is located at one of the satellites and is now a little grounded. And because of this video I've decided to purchase one tomorrow. Again, thank you so much. Your videos have been so helpful in my past PC build's. Keep it up and more power to you.
Full detailed video on speakers! Going for $50 speakers..! One question.. what are those ports on Motherboard that are multicoloured (on back panel)? Below USB ports.. Are they the sound output for the Speakers? Or anything else?
I'm from Germany and find your description of the sound system much better than the descriptions in germany. I just ordered the system and it costs 44.99 euros.I would therefore like to thank you for your detailed description
Big big Logitech fan here! My entire desktop (3 computers) is almost exclusively Logitech: Keyboards, mouses (mice?), and of course the speaker systems. I am seriously considering redoing my sound system(s) using a mixer to mix all three computers into one sound system. (As opposed to the three systems currently living on my desk.) I think you have me pretty well sold on the Z-333 setup. I love those satellite speakers, and know exactly where they would fit perfectly. ....Now I just have to find the right mixer. Too bad Logitech doesn't make mixers, LOL. God Bless and have a very Merry Christmas.
So having a linear battle station I have no room for the Z506 and all them speakers (although I really wish I did). I just came home with the Z333s ... LOVE THEM! I could've gotten them for $59 online, but opted to get them at my local Fry's for $70. I have zero complaints! Thanks for this video man!
I can vouch for these... i had some great cyber acoustics that started crackling one day and replaced them with these and very happy with them. Also they dont look like they came from a ufo, so that's a plus as well.
I had creative 2.1 a long time ago and now use it with my TV at native home. Bought in 2003, it still works. Then I bought creative 5.1 in 2009 and that changed my view on playing movies and music. Unfortunately, I sold the device when I moved abroad. In 2017, I bought Logitech Z506 which is still running, but one channel in the back left is not working. Now I'm thinking of buying an AVR and Klipsch speakers. I have Logi Z120 two small speakers connected to my laptop. My recommendation for computer, tv users, buy at least a 5.1 speaker system, they work fantastic.
i have this speaker and i had to RMA the speaker twice in a year with the same problem, speaker not working and green light on the volume knob dosent light up but if i attack a headphone into the volume knob i can hear from it
Had the Z200s for years and for the money they are excellent! Recommended them to friends and after they listened too them, they bought em on Amazon on two occasions!
I have the Logitech Z2200 2.1 system. I bought it back in 2004 and they still sound great. 200 watt rms 400 watt peak. Only down side is you WILL buy a sound card as I have never had on-board sound that did justice to this system.
Was just about to buy a set of speakers. Now I guess I'll reconsider my decision. Thank you Mr Tech Deals BTW I'd trust his opinion any day about anything
It was Walpole A 5.1 surround equivalent from creative. I'm still considering my options but I think I'll either get the Creative 5.1 surround or these specific ones described in this video
I got one myself(Z333) and im amazed, with full bass, full volume both the speaker and the pc and some hardcore music from LP,well they sounds music to my ears...very satisfied.
Thank you very much, I did view your video last week and I did exactly that, i upgraded to the z333 as I also had a space issue..I am very happy with this results.
Hey Tech Deals! First Merry Christmas! Second I love your channel! I want to say a week ago I bought the Creative Gigaworks T20 II and while they are great and clear something was missing...(bass). I was going to get a pair of Z313 from your earlier review then decided on the Z333 because of this review. However when I got to Microcenter they had the Z506 refurbished for only $49.99 and after watching your channel for over a year now I knew I could not pass this deal up. I just got home and set them up and WOW they are great! I don't have stands for the rear speakers but I have them off to the side of my desk and I just loaded up GTAV and it was like playing it for the first time again. The Front and center speakers are so clear and the rear even though they are not in an ideal space add so much immersion. Keep up the great work, please never change because as I said I have watched you for over a year and have made many purchases based on your recommendation.
HenryPlays All cheap speakers break after the first couple of months. I've been buying speakers for 6 years, constantly. Until I siwtched to headphones 5 times more expensive. I'll never look back. Fuck speakers.
I have some old cheap Logitech speakers which were the previous model to the z213 speakers, they have lasted me about 6 years so far and the only issue is the wire is slightly freyed but it's not a big issue because they just sit on my desk
I love how you explain things. I'm just a guy with OCD when it comes to pronunciation. overall.. your videos are very informative and detailed. You are helping people make great tech decisions. Thank you. :D
im using old old ollld altec lansing 2.1s...i was surprised to see the subwoofer seems to have a removable fuse...not sure why but they go really well...love your enthusiasm and honesty...good manners too...subbed
Before anything...I really like your delivery. Very informative and highly professional. Now...for my suggestion. The z333 bass response is ok. The bass response rolls off from 55Hz. That's...not great, but it's not bad. It just means that you'll get a softer sub sound, not a THUMPY sound. I would highly suggest to get a sub that can hit 35Hz. I know...most music isn't even mixed that low. Yea, but movies soundtracks are. Some songs are mixed with frequencies that low...and for those songs alone, I would advise to get something that can hit 35Hz or lower. I do have a home studio with professional studio gear and I can hit 22Hz. I can't hear it but I can feel it. With that said, I test out music a lot and there IS a HUGE difference in a lush low sine wave playing at 43Hz that is only apparent if your sub can do at least 40Hz or lower...so 35Hz is more than adequate. At 55Hz...you won't hear anything past 48Hz; maybe the speaker might move a little but no air movement. I would suggest the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system. Not the Bluetooth version though. Stay away from that one.
The Z333 seems perfect for me, and I've listened to a few sound test videos - I can say it does sound good and I like that there aren't a ton of speakers like with more expensive systems - this is perfect for my desk. :D
I understand that this video is almost 3 years old right now but many users complain about the buzzing sound when these speakers are turned off but still there is power cord plugged in. Which can be really annoying during night and the only fix is to have ON/off button on your extension power cord or on the socket outlet itself. Thank you for answer.
I like how this guy provides information the way you would like to get them. I have worked in sales in a tech store & I learned that most people, who are looking for stuff, prefer it this way.

just bought a pair of z333 for just 27.00 with same day shipping on SUNDAY! Yes Amazon will deliver on Sunday if you live near a distribution warehouse.
Still using my Logitech Z-5500 from 2009, the only issue I had was the backlight of the pod dying, however Logitech sent me a new pod for that and it has been great ever since.
I had the Z323's and was actually pretty suprised with how loud those things got for right around 45 50 bucks ....I recently upgraded to the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 and OMG!!! Those things are absolutely AMAZING for $150 bucks(I bought the older non-bluetooth version used for 60 bucks) ...they are hands down the best desktop speakers you can buy for under $500 EASILY! ...and they are only 2.1 lol I highly recommend spending the extra cash on the Klipsch's if you can! They get incredible loud while staying super clean! I've had many different speaker systems even $350 Bose and the Bose come no where near comparing to the $150 pro medias' ...they will shake the hell out of your house if you want them too! I honestly cant even turn them up past 1/4 because they get so damn loud!
I realize this is a really old video, but I still want to thank you for your time putting it out there. I just ordered these today from Amazon for $80 and all they're used for is occasionally. I want to listen to a TH-cam or some streaming app to listen to content as opposed to putting on my headphones.
If you want a set that you can easily tell the difference between a Bosendorfer or a Yamaha piano you might need a Klipsh. I have the Z333 but even those don't do that, but they make enough noise for the old lady to tell me to turn it down. She hates the Altec Lansings on the main sytem>> $410 20 years ago and still good and not noisy. That AL has a 110v power cord on the woofer and you need two hands to pick it up. It also fills the house with sound. The other one (logitec) uses a power brick and the whole thing fits on the desk. The AL? well ya might need a desk the size of a aircraft carrier
I just purchased these Z333 Logitech speakers and could not find any info on their SPL ratings. That is a measure of the efficiency of the speaker. 1 watt at 1 meter from the speaker and the measurement is in decibels. The higher the decibels the more efficient the speaker which translates into less watts needed to drive the speaker. Generally, anything above 95 to 100 is very good!
I like this format. In general, there are other parts that make up a computer than just the cpu and gpu. Peripherals do play a part in the overall computer experience. Variety is good.
The best speakers I have ever owned for my PC, Logitech Z-2300. If you can fine them, grab it. I have had these for quite some time, in fact i have replaced the volume controller 2 times over last 10+yrs. I still cant find anything under $300 that sounds as good as these.
I do agree on adding in an additional sound card to your PC if you want maximum audio quality. I owned multiple PCs in the past with onboard Realtek sound cards and I must say all does not sound anywhere close to the Creative Sound Blaster no matter how well you tweak the equaliser and all.. I paired my 17 year old Creative Audigy 2 ZS with the Logitech Z506 in my 7th generation i5 pc with gaming GPU and all.. Brings surround sound gaming experience to a whole new level
Ordered mine for 25€ on sale with free shipping from local store as backup sound for my pc. I'm convinced it's going to serve it's purpose more than well :)
I have one of these (Z333). They sound real loud and certainly enough for a gaming rig or movie room (my case), usually keep them at half volume. I work in an audio studio with Genelec 8040a's and can say the Z333 have a very decent sound in comparison. I considered the surround speaker set but ended up buying this one, and don't regret it. Recommended. The first unit's amp somehow stopped working, the unit turned on but no volume. I've contacted Logitech and they asked me for pics and sent me a replacement immediately. I still have the broken one and might try repairing it myself.
Thanks for the feedback... I don't think I've ever had to use Logitech's support, their stuff tends to just work... probably had $20 speakers die once or twice after many years, but I wouldn't bother with warranty on a $20 item...
I had other things from them breaking. Is a rare occurrence, when it happened with my mouse I already had plenty of LT products and they agreed on sending me one without requiring mine first. I would say LT is one of the best when it comes to support. (I'm not connected to them in any way, just buy a lot of their stuff) Two things not to buy from them though: - Solar wireless keyboard: Is a great design but sadly it never charged fast enough and once the battery was dead there was no way to fix it. No battery replacement available either. - Small wireless keyboard: I like it but the keys were painted and some faded out. Now using a RedDragon Indrah (with oil and washers on each switch), best keyboard ever.
*UPDATE* - I now have these Z333 speakers on my Ryzen 7 1700 build, they are MUCH better than the Z313, totally worth the extra cost! - I will end up with another set for my Skylake-X system!

Hi! I just bought the Logitech Z200 since I don'T have much space on my desk. I think for the price they are really great! I also choose them after the looks and it looks and sounds great, so I am satisfied!
I bought the Z313 set for my laptop after you posted your last speaker review. For the very limited space I have they're pretty much perfect.
@@wilsonwijaya.design Which speaker model?
Wow, very nicely done! Love the straight forward commentary and understandable explanations of specs. Thank you!
Watching the video on my Z333 speakers. Bought them few months ago, couldn't be happier! Totally recommend them!
I don't know how maybe coincidence but I was just looking for a speaker for my future build
A picture or at the very least mentioning the motherboard model would help! We can only guess.
Heynow , Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays 🇵🇹
Ten years later and my logitech X-530's are still working perfectly
I can vouch for these... i had some great cyber acoustics that started crackling one day and replaced them with these and very happy with them. Also they dont look like they came from a ufo, so that's a plus as well.
Any update after 2 years with these? Any problems?
I had creative 2.1 a long time ago and now use it with my TV at native home. Bought in 2003, it still works. Then I bought creative 5.1 in 2009 and that changed my view on playing movies and music. Unfortunately, I sold the device when I moved abroad. In 2017, I bought Logitech Z506 which is still running, but one channel in the back left is not working. Now I'm thinking of buying an AVR and Klipsch speakers. I have Logi Z120 two small speakers connected to my laptop. My recommendation for computer, tv users, buy at least a 5.1 speaker system, they work fantastic.
i have this speaker and i had to RMA the speaker twice in a year with the same problem,
speaker not working and green light on the volume knob dosent light up but if i attack a headphone into the volume knob i can hear from it
Bought Z333. The sound is so great for my small room and I definitely not regret the investment.
How are they doing? I'm thinking of buying them
same had them year now
@@ryzencorp8182 BUY THEM. they are so awesome but realize its for computer. sounds awesone
@@kontio9186 Cant you connect them to your TV?
I almost bought Z333 before I found out the tweeters are fake. Watch out.
What?
@@handsomejack3444 The tweeter speakers on the top are actually fake. They put them there just for the looks.
@@alxnd_r6345 I found out. They should disclose that.
How about the Logitech z337?
How about the Logitech z337?
Had the Z200s for years and for the money they are excellent! Recommended them to friends and after they listened too them, they bought em on Amazon on two occasions!
Kinda impressive someone can be so enthusiastic while frowning...
Thanks to your video, I just ordered Z333 today at $42, hope it sound good, finger crossed 🤞
How are they playing? Are they any good? Bc I want to buy them and im not convinced
Ha the 506's are cheaper than the 333's on amazon Canada
I have the Logitech Z2200 2.1 system. I bought it back in 2004 and they still sound great. 200 watt rms 400 watt peak. Only down side is you WILL buy a sound card as I have never had on-board sound that did justice to this system.
Was just about to buy a set of speakers. Now I guess I'll reconsider my decision. Thank you Mr Tech Deals
BTW I'd trust his opinion any day about anything
don't let anyone make a decision for you, even if it's such a nice and trustworthy guy like mister TeeDee...
kyriakos tsaknakis what speakers were you about to get?
It was Walpole A 5.1 surround equivalent from creative. I'm still considering my options but I think I'll either get the Creative 5.1 surround or these specific ones described in this video
Logitechs are great. I've been using my z5300e 5.1 280w system since I bought it in '05. Survived several moves and still sounds great.
For some reason the Z333 are now $100 :/
I got one myself(Z333) and im amazed, with full bass, full volume both the speaker and the pc and some hardcore music from LP,well they sounds music to my ears...very satisfied.
This is... this is nice
Thank you very much, I did view your video last week and I did exactly that, i upgraded to the z333 as I also had a space issue..I am very happy with this results.
those tweeters are fake
I brought the Z313 a few days ago on your recommendation for £35 and happy with them, look nice and sound nice for the price
Not needed...
But its tech deals!!!
👍👍👍
On amazon a lot of the reviews say the the z333s break after a couple of months.
HenryPlays All cheap speakers break after the first couple of months. I've been buying speakers for 6 years, constantly. Until I siwtched to headphones 5 times more expensive. I'll never look back. Fuck speakers.
lol
I've had mine for over a year and no problems. People are probably trying to run them at 100% volume 24/7
lol ive had z333 logitech for 2 yrs and doesnt break.
I have some old cheap Logitech speakers which were the previous model to the z213 speakers, they have lasted me about 6 years so far and the only issue is the wire is slightly freyed but it's not a big issue because they just sit on my desk
5 years later and this is still the best video on this topic, an update would be great
❤
Still rocking my Z5300's, always liked Logitech speakers.
I just want to correct how you pronounced the Sound Blaster brand
it is AWE-DEE-GEE not AWE-DEE-Yolo-GEE
:D (Constructive criticsm)
Thanks for the feedback... I can't pronounce anything :)
I love how you explain things. I'm just a guy with OCD when it comes to pronunciation.
overall.. your videos are very informative and detailed. You are helping people make great tech decisions. Thank you. :D
Tech Deals Oh, that’s easy, it’s “EN-EE-THING”. No need to thank me! Wait...uh...
im using old old ollld altec lansing 2.1s...i was surprised to see the subwoofer seems to have a removable fuse...not sure why but they go really well...love your enthusiasm and honesty...good manners too...subbed
Stay away from that one.
planning to buy a z333 soon, your review is awesome, the way you review and speak is so clear, you're awesome, this review deserves a like.
This is a gem. I mean the review. We dont get this kind of unboxing/review nowadays! Thanks for the comprehensive inputs!
I like how this guy provides information the way you would like to get them. I have worked in sales in a tech store & I learned that most people, who are looking for stuff, prefer it this way.
WAY WAY WAY back ago i spend good amount of money on logitech z5500 5.1 speaker set... still use it til this day.. greatest logitech speaker all time....
old speakers from logitech are so much better idk why they stopped selling them
BASSTECH878 Cuz they can blast out your windows?
yes, but they also sound better than the new ones
ive got z506 for 2 years now ... these speakers are loud, clear, and does the job ! Ive got them working in 2.1 tho with RCA cable into a behringer usb audio interface ! It is a really nice pair of speaker !
Hey just wanna let you know, 2 years ago the rig I built was inspired by 1 of your videos and now I'm getting some speakers and here you are! Kudos to you !
i bought z313 6 years ago and they still rock. that's why i love logitech
just bought a pair of z333 for just 27.00 with same day shipping on SUNDAY! Yes Amazon will deliver on Sunday if you live near a distribution warehouse.
Great review. I'm glad that you are reviewing speakers that are in a price range that is more accessible to the majority of users.
Still using my Logitech Z-5500 from 2009, the only issue I had was the backlight of the pod dying, however Logitech sent me a new pod for that and it has been great ever since.
Great review! I love it when you talk clearly and at moderate pace so ppl can understand
Dude it's amazing how you have a review on everything I need. You are a badass!
I have them, but they often go into standby with no reason while you're watching a video or listening to a song, other than that they're fine
Have no clue what else you got on channel mate, I just listened to your speech and the way you explain and approach things = subscribed. Damn good!
I like this format. In general, there are other parts that make up a computer than just the cpu and gpu. Peripherals do play a part in the overall computer experience. Variety is good.
Love the hockey puck as i've been using an old Griffin Powermate on my laptop. I think i'll grab these speakers. Thanks for the video.
The best speakers I have ever owned for my PC, Logitech Z-2300. If you can fine them, grab it. I have had these for quite some time, in fact i have replaced the volume controller 2 times over last 10+yrs. I still cant find anything under $300 that sounds as good as these.
I have the Z313 now for many years and they are awesome.
You can't do anything wrong with buying the Z313 or Z333.
Nice, deep and thorough review listing numerous pros & cons. This is the type of reviews the internet needs.
I don't need to get any of these. I just clicked to just watch and listen to a good reviewer.
Got these today. Can't believe how good they are for the price.
The most detailed reviewer that has EVER existed. Hats off
I love hearing your vids as I go to sleep. Your voice and the quality of sound is very soothing.
Brings surround sound gaming experience to a whole new level
my 313 controller died a couple weeks ago. Just ordered a set of z333's so cant wait to see the difference!
(I'm not connected to them in any way, just buy a lot of their stuff)
Two things not to buy from them though:
- Solar wireless keyboard: Is a great design but sadly it never charged fast enough and once the battery was dead there was no way to fix it. No battery replacement available either.
- Small wireless keyboard: I like it but the keys were painted and some faded out. Now using a RedDragon Indrah (with oil and washers on each switch), best keyboard ever.
Sacco Belmonte a cheer for good customer support!
I like his touch of sarcasm, breaks things up a bit.
as soon as i noticed the "short version" disclaimer at the beginning, i knew this video was worth the time to keep watching c:
