I have the trades where the spines forming the S shield. A part of me wants the Omnibus and this deluxe edition as well. But I’ve been holding out for an Absolute Edition. Crazy how DC hasn’t made that yet. Hopefully the Door All Seasons AE sells well enough to warrant more.
I've read this story half a dozen times and never noticed the stuff pointed out in the 11:19 mark. I knew 75 was all splash pages, but the other stuff? Mind blown.
I have the 5 trades collection and I'm gonna stick to it, because it is the most complete collection of that story, it includes the Hunter/Prey arc. That story should have been included in the Omnibus!

Just bought it yesterday at books a million was so hyped to read when I got home but my 1 to 10 shift caught up to me and I was just 😵💫 heck played some rounds of tekken 7 with a bro I feel asleep during a match talk and awkward 😅 like I didn't even take the wrapping off

I feel like, once again DC dropped the ball with Superman collected editions. 30 year anniversary and you give us the 4th printing of the "Death & Return" omnibus. Cool, I'm fine with that. I picked it up. BUT way an oversized hardcover later in the year? That should've been "Superman/Doomsday" the rematch, conclusion to wrap it all up.

Picked up this and Superman: Birthright by Mark Waid last month. First time reading both stories. Loved both of them.

I’d rather they added hunter prey that this day of doom thing. Hope they change it for the absolute but I highly doubt it.

Why is DC using matte paper for it's recent collected editions?
Not sure why but i am loving it personally. Makes reading easier with much lesser glare and light reflections
