running the old container with a bearing that has little or no grease in it seems like it would start to get hot, probably the seals that smoke and smell. Time to try to recycle that old Tritan or get a machinist to remove and inspect that bearing and blade assembly? Since most containers don't break, it would be nice to know how one can salvage the plastic and perhaps regrind the blade if needed..
