Hey, I can't get my Dolphinbar working. Latest Dolphin, Real Wiimote selected, Continuous Scanning checked, the bar is in Mode 4 and the Wii remote is synced (though it didn't vibrate when it synced, its lights reflect which mode the bar is in though). Any thoughts? None of the buttons respond and the tracking only works if I have it in one of the other modes, not the one I actually want :/
Just got it and it works but I encountered a couple of little things. You're going to want to make sure your computer recognizes the wiimote (not just Dolphin) so make sure you see the lil popup for Windows come up prior to trying to go through the setup on Dolphin. Also make sure the sensor bar is set to mode 4, I had just the buttons being picked up having it on mode 3 which it went to out of the box. So mode 4 was then able to make sure you could use it as a pointer and a fully functioning wiimote. The sound coming out of the wiimote is all crackly so I have turned it off for now, but I'm sure I'll figure that out later. But apart from that, sweet as mofos!

While third-party accessories like the Nunchuk work fine, the Wii Remote itself needs to be original; third-party versions won't work properly (motion sensor, accessories, and the pointer dosent work when using a third-party Wii Remote).
I'm wondering if this works with other games on the PC, like a couple of gun games on Steam, without using Dolphin? I assume it does, as it appears to work as a mouse pointer when outside of Dolphin, right? Also wondering is you have to use the PLUS versions of the Wiimotes, or if the old original ones also work? I only ask because the ad and box specifically say that it works with the PLUS Wiimotes, and doesn't say anything that I saw, about working with the original non-PLUS versions. Also, it looked a little laggy like the cursor was playing catchup when you moved the controller?? Mind you, I think the original Wii mighta been a little like that as well from what I can remember.

ive ran into the same issue btw, I recently bought the dolphin bar for dolphin emulator! its working well but i have a small room and I am close to my screen! I have my dolphin bar below my monitor! It is however not picking up the IR sensors as I am too close to my monitor and cannot sit any further away! Is there a way I can change distance on the dolphin bar to play from 2 metres away, the standard distance is too far, it works when i am standing at my door, but not at my chair! so i know its a distance issue!
PLEASE let me know one thing! Does it ACTUALLY work correctly with wii sports resort, Specifically BOWLING? Is it accurate? When I play that game with a standard sensor bar is does NOT register accuaratly and the bowling especially sucks. I am thinking it is MAYBE because with standard senor bar you "sync" the Wii remote to the actual PC with bluetooth. I am hoping that the Mayflash fixes my problem? Thanks!
The WII "sensor bar" is not really a sensor bar but only some LEDs. The name was just stupid marketing by Nintendo. The main issue with WiiMotes is that there are no good drivers for Windows. Microsoft forces driver certification, which is quite expensive and unclear if it would be successful for an OpenSouce-Driver that uses a foreign device, for that reason, there are no easy-to-use drivers for Windows. As far as I understand, the Mayflash W010 solves that issue by implementing the WiiMote-Driver in firmware and acting like a Bluetooth bridge. For Windows, it looks like a "normal" controller, mouse, etc. Your issue sounds like there is no direct line of sight between the WiiMote and the "sensor bar". Is the bar at the back of your desk? You really need a direct line of sight! This all works over infrared tracking and bluetooth. For tracking, the WiiMote needs to see the "sensor bar"

@@akilluminati47 The sound has always been broken on anything but the tr wii remotes. The zelda motion plus remote is unfortunately not a tr remote of them. There is no click around solution, but its not a priority feature and can be turned off as it lags the connection

Hey I tried to connect to dolphin bar with Wii controller but when I do the sync button on both the Wii blue squares at the bottom just blink and stop but flash 4 lights anyone know how to fix it?
I bought a cheap USB one ages ago and plug it in the back of the tv. Use a Bluetooth adapter to connect to pc. Works great. As far as I can tell the mayflash just has Bluetooth built in but then you have to plug it into the pc.

Sensor bars for the wii on real hardware is just two ir lights iirc. You can actually just put two candles in front of your tv that are a little spaced out and the wii will be able to track the remote since the tech for tracking the controller between the lights is all in the controller and not in the bar itself. The thing that makes the dolphinbar special is that it doubles as a simple adapter/Bluetooth receiver for the wiimotes on the computer.

You can sync more than one controller

Bought one today with a wiimote+nunchuk combo. Cant wait to use it in my retrogames setup

you dont need the sesnor bar to sense motion. u can use it as a bluetooth easy adapter for the wiimote. u can buy or use sensor bars and it will work

I literally thought my PC was the cause of this because input lag because I have a TR wiimote

I had this same problem, do you have actual Nintendo Brand or knockoff? Only Nintendo brand work on the DolphinBar.
