Once I was confronted with Adventism about 18 months ago, my primary goal in this realm was and is to confront the Conspiracy Theory of the ‘Left Behind’ false prophecies that are misleading millions. Once I understood the true prophetic model of the Bible, all other worldly concerns about various conspiracy theories just evaporated because the TRUTH of God’s Word set me free! John 8:32. Pastor, thank you soooo much for this message! Over the years I have struggled with fear, doubt of my salvation, distrust, a critical mindset of others based simply from conspiracy theories that were presented as ABSOLUTE GOSPEL. Though I have been an Adventist all my life I had no true peace nor joy. I looked to others who I though had a deeper connection with God and held on to their words instead of the Word of God. This led to some serious depression and a desire to just walk away from the faith. Thank God for the prayers of close family that brought me through. I am having to unlearn so much and relearn like a babe how to rightly divide the Word of God and have a personal relationship with Him. You have been most instrumental. I always look at the conspiracy things on TH-cam and I look at the people out here as if they're committing evil because of the conspiracies, not realizing that they need to hear the truth of God's word just like I do. And it's something because just recently I was telling my best friend about some conspiracies I heard, and he said it's not according to the Bible oh, and the things I hear I tried to match up with scripture but he still says but he's going by the Bible in the Bible alone, and some of the conspiracies are here I think it's a cording to the Bible, or a cause me to look at non-believers, sideways oh, I guess you can say. But honestly I need to start with myself, I feel like the sermon was meant for me because I'm always looking at conspiracy theories stuff. And it makes me feel a certain kind of way or think of others a certain kind of way sometimes, and I'm always quick to talk to people about the times we're living in, according to the word of the most high God, but I pay a lot of attention to these conspiracies and I have been judgmental. From now on is scripture in scripture alone. Sola scriptura. Much peace, love, and blessings to you and your family. And may the good Lord cover you guys wherever you go. Pastor Myers, when I first heard u preach many years ago ur tactful style and fresh approach was very agreeable yet unique/peculiar. Ur still all these things except that ur, not as peculiar as b4, and far more agreeable with those preaching the ecumenical message. Tiptoeing around the truth in the name of love is hardly appropriate when time is very short, makes everything seem less urgent.... As far as I know, we are to give the straight testimony to make it plain and practical. As far as I know, nobody ever gives an urgent warning to anybody in hate. As far as I know, a message of warning is meant to provoke the person to action. It makes no sense to give this final warning of the utmost importance by leaving out the deception, by exposing the deception we shake them up, then point them to Jesus. Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Even if they do not see the danger immediately you have exposed the deception. and in that way they are have given them a chance/planted a seed that the Holy Spirit can work with. Jesus has HIs people, and His sheep and they know His voice coz they are seeking Truth. We should go out of our way to present our difference from the world, highlight the contrast we have, show our unity in truth, not in compromise.
A huge conviction to me personally, indeed we need to be mindful of all these accusations... We have been nudge subtlely without realizing that we are pointing fingers and judging. God have mercy 🙏

Agreed with most of what you said Pastor Myers, however I also do believe that God can reveal hidden things that can be rooted in the hearts of men through revelation and vision to someone. Living this way for nearly 8 years is the worst thing I can ever imagine happening. But my mom lives in South Africa, and we have only had my parents visit 3 times in the past 18 years. And my dad passed away in November last year, and I still feel heartbroken for my mom. They would have commemmorated their 50th anniversary on December 16th last year.

PK 176.1 Good news is, though there definitely are conspiracies forming against God's people, He is still in control.
Unity in Philippians 2:1-9. “Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind”. What does it mean to be “like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord”? Is it to follow the same Biblical doctrines or align on controversial topics? Continuing in Philippian 2:3, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others”. Unity occurs when we all esteem others better than ourselves. This is more than merely considering others as brothers and sisters equal. It means to give of your possessions to those in need (Luke 3:11, Acts 2:44-45). It means to love and serve one another (Mark 9:35, Matthew 20:26-27, Romans 12:10). It means to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21, John 13:14). It means to value the wellbeing of others more than your own. John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends”. But who is my neighbor? Continuing Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.” Jesus was equal with God, yet He choose to humble Himself in order to save His creation. He valued mankind above His own majesty and even existence. Therefore, He is exalted above all else. In the moment that God fully demonstrated His unselfish love for the world, with Jesus dying our death on the cross, did anyone value Jesus higher than their own selves? Isaiah 53:3, “He is despised and rejected by men...and we esteemed Him not”. Matthew 26:56, “Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.” (John 16:32). Jesus esteemed the world more than Himself (John 3:16), yet the people of the world did not esteem Him. And still yet this did not change the way God treated us “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8. He washed the feet of His disciples, knowing they would shortly after abandon and betray Him (John 13:5&11). He greeted His betrayer as His friend in the very moment He was betrayed (Matthew 26:50). He openly forgave the people who crucified Him while they were crucifying Him (Luke 23:34). This “others-centered”, unconditional love of God activates our love towards Him and others (1 John 4:19, John 12:32). “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34 (John 13:15). Loving as Jesus loved is esteeming all others above ourselves, regardless how they think towards us, what their beliefs are, or what they have done (1 Thessalonians 5:15, Matthew 25:40). It’s allowing people to think and behave differently than you, while maintaining a loving attitude towards them, above how you would treat those in whom you agree (Romans 12:14, Luke 6:27-28). It’s letting people vote opposite of what you believe and not thinking lower of them, gossiping about them, or even questioning their standing before God (Romans 12:3-5). It’s fully forgiving people who have wronged you first, before they even ask, and letting them know you have done so (Acts 7:60). It’s being vulnerable and openly confessing to those you have wronged (James 5:16). This is witnessing God’s love to the world (Matthew 5:16, Acts 1:8). This is unity (Hebrews 10:24-25). But is this natural to us? No. This is why we need to connect with Jesus, so He can give us a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26, John 15:5). Only when we know personally His great mercy to us, can we then extend this to others (Luke 7:47). So, we can have unity within our personal relationships, families, schools, churches, etc., even when we don’t see eye to eye, because we are united through Christ and our love towards one another. Jesus said “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” John 13:35.

You're so right pastor. All it takes is one thought and Satan will try to get in anyway he can. One thought one crack or crevice in your mind and that's all he needs to come in a "set up shop" so to speak. We have to have on the full armour of Christ.

Isn't interesting how despite this very good explanation there are still people who here in the comments exhibit the spirit of the dragon. I have been part of these kind of groups who thrive on to accuse the brethren. This is how I came to faith, but God is able to do wonderful things. When I learned more about God and developed a relationship with Him, I understood that I had to make a decision of separating myself from those people. I never regretted. Those people think that they are called to expose. Wish they will start to expose what they are doing in secret. What if the Lord will upload a video on TH-cam will all their secrets sins? Wow! I have been judging Pope Francis himself. Just like you said, Pastor Myers. He is my brother. He deserves to be prayed for. He deserves to be forgiven. He deserves to know the truth and to experience the joy of spending eternity with God.
2 aspects to judging, investigative or to assess and examine and the pronouncements on judgements or sentencing and penalty, arrived only based on facts and evidences. We cannot do the latter at this point only assess or examine.
I'm not quite sure of your meaning behind the text, so, anyway.... In the text, Jesus says that those who do the will of His Father are His brothers and sisters. Ever since Pastor Myers' sermon, God has been showing me daily, how ungodly and extremely hateful I've been about politicians, etc., who don't know God, and stand for horrible things like abortion and things. He has shown me that, in spite of their beliefs, as well as their actions, they are God's wayward children, whom He loves and wants to be with forever in His kingdom. Just because I know and love God, I am no better than they; especially when I make myself their judge. My job is to love and pray for them, because they are part of the human family, just as I am. And yes, Pope Francis is of the papacy, but he isn't necessarily THE pope who will usher in the time of trouble. So, I am praying for him as a child of God who deserves to know the truth and make his own decision.

When I’m presented with these different theories and stories particularly relating to the Bible (for example: flat earth, 2520, etc) I have two filters I put it through. First, who is the presenter trying to “convert” with this new “truth?” Typically the falsehoods want to spread to the brethren. The brethren have already been evangelized. They need to be out trying to reach others. Then I ask myself... How would this new idea or information benefit my neighbor struggling with depression? My coworker with his alcohol problem? If something is only for the brethren to understand, and/or it won’t help or encourage those struggling in darkness, I choose not to waste my time investigating such theories. People are dying and it’s not to know the earth isn’t flat or that the Holy Spirit doesn’t exist. Honestly, some SDAs are very susceptible to “new light” because many connect to God intellectually. Which there is nothing wrong with! It takes a brain to understand prophecy and other beautiful truths from the word. But many have grown bored with these beautiful truths. Why? Because we are ignoring the commission to go teach all the world Jesus has taught us. If we were actively trying to share the amazing prophecies of Daniel to those who have never heard, we would study it like we never have before because you have to teach it and be prepared. God would reveal even deeper gems of His wisdom if we did so, which would keep us engaged. Then after sharing with a person who’s never heard Daniel 2 or Revelation 13 and seeing their excitement, our brethren would have their passion reignited! Ministering to others keeps us on the right track, focused on Christ and sharing His word, His love, His hope for the future!

Pastor how do we fight? I know those rioting for BLM right now are misguided but what about the higher ups who control them? I'm torn as to how involved to be in politics and how I can keep God in all that I do? I support Trump because he is anti-abortion and anti-socialism, but should I just stay out of voting and campaigning and just pray for my leaders? How do I fight the physical and the spiritual?

You have no problem recognizing the lack of civil rights as oppressive, but I wonder why you may not understand why religious rights are also being oppressed? And when He comes and speaks to you and me, it is because He wants to translate us, but He cannot translate sin, can He? Then the only purpose that He has in showing us the depth and breadth of sin is that He may save us from it and translate us. Then, shall we become discouraged when He shows us our sins? No. Let us thank Him that He wants to translate us and He wants to do this so much that He wishes to get our sins out of the way as soon as possible. Once I was confronted with Adventism about 18 months ago, my primary goal in this realm was and is to confront the Conspiracy Theory of the ‘Left Behind’ false prophecies that are misleading millions. Once I understood the true prophetic model of the Bible, all other worldly concerns about various conspiracy theories just evaporated because the TRUTH of God’s Word set me free! John 8:32.

Over the years I have struggled with fear, doubt of my salvation, distrust, a critical mindset of others based simply from conspiracy theories that were presented as ABSOLUTE GOSPEL. Though I have been an Adventist all my life I had no true peace nor joy. I looked to others who I though had a deeper connection with God and held on to their words instead of the Word of God. This led to some serious depression and a desire to just walk away from the faith. Thank God for the prayers of close family that brought me through. I am having to unlearn so much and relearn like a babe how to rightly divide the Word of God and have a personal relationship with Him. You have been most instrumental. May the Lord continue to shine on you and gjve you peace.

I always look at the conspiracy things on TH-cam and I look at the people out here as if they're committing evil because of the conspiracies, not realizing that they need to hear the truth of God's word just like I do. And it's something because just recently I was telling my best friend about some conspiracies I heard, and he said it's not according to the Bible oh, and the things I hear I tried to match up with scripture but he still says but he's going by the Bible in the Bible alone, and some of the conspiracies are here I think it's a cording to the Bible, or a cause me to look at non-believers, sideways oh, I guess you can say. But honestly I need to start with myself, I feel like the sermon was meant for me because I'm always looking at conspiracy theories stuff. And it makes me feel a certain kind of way or think of others a certain kind of way sometimes, and I'm always quick to talk to people about the times we're living in, according to the word of the most high God, but I pay a lot of attention to these conspiracies and I have been judgmental. Pastor Myers, when I first heard u preach many years ago ur tactful style and fresh approach was very agreeable yet unique/peculiar. Ur still all these things except that ur, not as peculiar as b4, and far more agreeable with those preaching the ecumenical message. Tiptoeing around the truth in the name of love is hardly appropriate when time is very short, makes everything seem less urgent.... As far as I know, we are to give the straight testimony to make it plain and practical. As far as I know, nobody ever gives an urgent warning to anybody in hate. As far as I know, a message of warning is meant to provoke the person to action. It makes no sense to give this final warning of the utmost importance by leaving out the deception, by exposing the deception we shake them up, then point them to Jesus.
Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Even if they do not see the danger immediately you have exposed the deception. and in that way they are have given them a chance/planted a seed that the Holy Spirit can work with.
Jesus has HIs people, and His sheep and they know His voice coz they are seeking Truth. We should go out of our way to present our difference from the world, highlight the contrast we have, show our unity in truth, not in compromise.

Living this way for nearly 8 years is the worst thing I can ever imagine happening. But my mom lives in South Africa, and we have only had my parents visit 3 times in the past 18 years. Unity in Philippians 2:1-9.
“Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind”. What does it mean to be “like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord”? Is it to follow the same Biblical doctrines or align on controversial topics?
Continuing in Philippian 2:3, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others”. Unity occurs when we all esteem others better than ourselves. This is more than merely considering others as brothers and sisters equal. It means to give of your possessions to those in need (Luke 3:11, Acts 2:44-45). It means to love and serve one another (Mark 9:35, Matthew 20:26-27, Romans 12:10). It means to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21, John 13:14). It means to value the wellbeing of others more than your own. John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends”. But who is my neighbor?
Continuing Philippians 2:5, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.”
Jesus was equal with God, yet He choose to humble Himself in order to save His creation. He valued mankind above His own majesty and even existence. Therefore, He is exalted above all else. In the moment that God fully demonstrated His unselfish love for the world, with Jesus dying our death on the cross, did anyone value Jesus higher than their own selves? Isaiah 53:3, “He is despised and rejected by men...and we esteemed Him not”. Matthew 26:56, “Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.” (John 16:32). Jesus esteemed the world more than Himself (John 3:16), yet the people of the world did not esteem Him. And still yet this did not change the way God treated us “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8. He washed the feet of His disciples, knowing they would shortly after abandon and betray Him (John 13:5&11). He greeted His betrayer as His friend in the very moment He was betrayed (Matthew 26:50). He openly forgave the people who crucified Him while they were crucifying Him (Luke 23:34). This “others-centered”, unconditional love of God activates our love towards Him and others (1 John 4:19, John 12:32).
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34 (John 13:15). Loving as Jesus loved is esteeming all others above ourselves, regardless how they think towards us, what their beliefs are, or what they have done (1 Thessalonians 5:15, Matthew 25:40). It’s allowing people to think and behave differently than you, while maintaining a loving attitude towards them, above how you would treat those in whom you agree (Romans 12:14, Luke 6:27-28). It’s letting people vote opposite of what you believe and not thinking lower of them, gossiping about them, or even questioning their standing before God (Romans 12:3-5). It’s fully forgiving people who have wronged you first, before they even ask, and letting them know you have done so (Acts 7:60). It’s being vulnerable and openly confessing to those you have wronged (James 5:16). This is witnessing God’s love to the world (Matthew 5:16, Acts 1:8). This is unity (Hebrews 10:24-25). But is this natural to us? No. This is why we need to connect with Jesus, so He can give us a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26, John 15:5). Only when we know personally His great mercy to us, can we then extend this to others (Luke 7:47).
So, we can have unity within our personal relationships, families, schools, churches, etc., even when we don’t see eye to eye, because we are united through Christ and our love towards one another. Jesus said “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” John 13:35.

Isn't interesting how despite this very good explanation there are still people who here in the comments exhibit the spirit of the dragon. I have been part of these kind of groups who thrive on to accuse the brethren. This is how I came to faith, but God is able to do wonderful things. When I learned more about God and developed a relationship with Him, I understood that I had to make a decision of separating myself from those people. I never regretted.

Wow! I have been judging Pope Francis himself. Just like you said, Pastor Myers. He is my brother. He deserves to be prayed for. He deserves to be forgiven. He deserves to know the truth and to experience the joy of spending eternity with God.

2 aspects to judging, investigative or to assess and examine and the pronouncements on judgements or sentencing and penalty, arrived only based on facts and evidences. We cannot do the latter at this point only assess or examine.
I'm not quite sure of your meaning behind the text, so, anyway.... In the text, Jesus says that those who do the will of His Father are His brothers and sisters. Ever since Pastor Myers' sermon, God has been showing me daily, how ungodly and extremely hateful I've been about politicians, etc., who don't know God, and stand for horrible things like abortion and things. He has shown me that, in spite of their beliefs, as well as their actions, they are God's wayward children, whom He loves and wants to be with forever in His kingdom. Just because I know and love God, I am no better than they; especially when I make myself their judge. My job is to love and pray for them, because they are part of the human family, just as I am. And yes, Pope Francis is of the papacy, but he isn't necessarily THE pope who will usher in the time of trouble. So, I am praying for him as a child of God who deserves to know the truth and make his own decision.

When I’m presented with these different theories and stories particularly relating to the Bible (for example: flat earth, 2520, etc) I have two filters I put it through. First, who is the presenter trying to “convert” with this new “truth?” Typically the falsehoods want to spread to the brethren. The brethren have already been evangelized. They need to be out trying to reach others.
Then I ask myself... How would this new idea or information benefit my neighbor struggling with depression? My coworker with his alcohol problem? If something is only for the brethren to understand, and/or it won’t help or encourage those struggling in darkness, I choose not to waste my time investigating such theories. People are dying and it’s not to know the earth isn’t flat or that the Holy Spirit doesn’t exist.
Honestly, some SDAs are very susceptible to “new light” because many connect to God intellectually. Which there is nothing wrong with! It takes a brain to understand prophecy and other beautiful truths from the word. But many have grown bored with these beautiful truths. Why? Because we are ignoring the commission to go teach all the world Jesus has taught us. If we were actively trying to share the amazing prophecies of Daniel to those who have never heard, we would study it like we never have before because you have to teach it and be prepared. God would reveal even deeper gems of His wisdom if we did so, which would keep us engaged. Pastor how do we fight? I know those rioting for BLM right now are misguided but what about the higher ups who control them? I'm torn as to how involved to be in politics and how I can keep God in all that I do? I support Trump because he is anti-abortion and anti-socialism, but should I just stay out of voting and campaigning and just pray for my leaders? How do I fight the physical and the spiritual?

You have no problem recognizing the lack of civil rights as oppressive, but I wonder why you may not understand why religious rights are also being oppressed? Isn’t this both lamb like horns working together? And yes, I do value freedom, I served this country to defend then and you think I will sit still and do nothing or say nothing about that?! No, we have to defend both civil and religious freedom. Just because it’s not a Sunday law are we justified in saying or doing nothing?! I think not brother.
