If you've sorted the head out now I'm guessing you'll probably crack a ring land next. There is a guy in the UK that runs one of these in his track K11 Micra and they've done a fair amount of R&D on this platform and are currently looking into piston options (Opel Z16LER plenty of forged options available), Gizfab is his business/Channel name He's done my mount kits for both the QG and K20 into k11 Micras. Love your content guys! I'm surprised you have gone as far as you have with this, Can't wait to see what it makes! Also not 100% but think you will you need check valves after the pumps to prevent them from back feeding especially if you're staging them. Don't think most external pumps have internal checks but I could be wrong.
10:04 had similar problem in past, pressure relief valve gave out and it started spraying - it was fine at idle a 100kpa (atmosferic), afr good too, but when you came to 140-150kpa engine would make sound as it would be on limiter, tho afr still good (liitle bit more of pulsation but nothing that i would guess it is fuel pump)
Can you shorten the con rods & sleeve the block? Smoother walls & more room at tdc reducing overall psi within cylinder, because i think the compound setup is possibly above OEM design spec.
ARP studs, the kit is for a KA24DE though and only comes with 10. QG18 has 12 but 2 are not load bearing so you just re-use 2 old bolts in those positions.
