I agree with your opinon about bring back industry to our country. We can make so much that will sustain us like we had 50 years ago and in the end help to provide jobs. I personally think we need industry to make clothing and shoes. When I was a teenager back in the 70s, there were so many pretty clothes at the discount stores. Yes, its going to start really getting cold in my area this month. But I'm super excited of the new year coming. Blessings to everyone.
2 yrs ago my hubby & I decided to cut way back on the amount of food we had @ the holidays. It was too much! We love it now. We plan a nice dinner (with no leftovers) & just 2 desserts to choose from. It seems more special. We got some gifts of baked goods so we're glad we didn't have too much to start with. I'm very sorry for the loss of your Chloe. 💛 💜 🤍 💙
That is the ultimate goal I'm working towards except I don't mind giving out leftovers. My kids like it and they can have at least one more dinner to enjoy. Next year will be a potluck
Hi Ellen, I change things around, too. Not big changes because my place is small, but little things that matter to me.😊 I put away my Christmas decorations today, although I didn't have too many out, no Christmas tree because I am unsure of what my Figaro would do, and I didn't want to tempt him at night while I slept. That is his haunting hours! 😀 Seriously though, he is a good boy 90% of the time! He is a cat, and he is naturally curious. ❤ Well, take care and enjoy your evening. Blessings to you, Ellen.
Same gloomy weather here, warm and wet but tonight we had terrible winds as a cold front moved in and now it's cold. But not nearly as cold as we are supposed to get next weekend, in the teens and twenties for highs... Ugh! Church this morning, then just some light work around the house, clearing up a few odds and ends. I've been using my walking pad but just got a rebounder trampoline which my son helped me put together. It's going to be a lot of fun jumping around. LOL. I've been spending some time pondering on my goals for 2025 I'm feeling rather optimistic. This year has had quite a few challenges for me but I believe I've come to terms with what I can and cannot change and we are moving forward. Fresh start!
1pm Monday and having my morning coffee.😁 Heading to my desk next to face my end-of-year pile of papers.🙀 Oh...I see the Prime guy on my porch ..be right back. Yay....it is my 2025 planner. It took me over 2 hours to find one I wanted for this year. I usually get the same style every year in a different color/design so they look nice on my shelf. Decided to change it up. Sleek & simple. My new fountain pens arrive tomorrow. Then nothing more arrives until Jan 6.😏 New tools for a new year. I don't really plan per se, more for appointments, birthdays, thoughts, and end of the day notations. 2024 was a dumpster fire year for me! I want to change everything and approach everyday differenly than in 2024. Restyling every room. Since I no longer formally entertain guests, it won't be necessary to have that consideration in restyling. I will always welcome friends who drop by for a coffee chat and have several spots inside & out for those times. I am going back to buying fresh flowers every week. Something I stopped doing to save money. Wasn't worth it as robbed some of my joy. I have been derailed far too long. Instead of continuing to try and regain what was I am going for the clean slate. No more of my backward thinking. 😊 Did you already order a new ottoman? Did you get lampshades from Amazon or ? I need a new reading lamp...nice & bright. Have a short list of things I need to create my new feel. Going to be fun! 😍
I agree. Going for the comfortable and realistic. It's almost always just me and my dogs everyday. I'm ok with that. I still have lots to get rid of transitioning from my old life. I'm ok with that too. One of the biggest perks to being single is the ability to do whatever I want. That's great! 😊👍
Have a blessed Sunday night, my friend I like what you did with the living room so far. Baby step sometimes; blessings from me and Otis, Massachusetts.
Maybe the next time you use your stick vac, you could video a closeup of it? I’m curious which one you like so much as I’m in the market for one. Thank you!
Yes I do think we will get higher prices for about a year. I think hopefully if the policies about regulation and tariffs on other countries that rip us off work that the next year 2026 will be better. Yes it seems like repairs keep popping up. Now we are replacing faucets. What will be next. I’m just closing my eyes and saying it’s going to be ok. Thank you for your videos it makes me feel like I’m not the only one. 16:39
Well hopefully at least we won't be paying for the nonsense that we pay for now with all these stupid government programs that they come up with. Yes the repairs have been tremendous this year and a half. I'm hoping once everything is fixed that it will just be minor repairs. It's just unbelievable to me that all this happened at once. I knew it was coming but I figured I could spread it out over a 5-year period but no that didn't happen.
With all your home improvements, ask your income tax "fixer" like H & R Block, if you can deduct something from the home improvements. Be sure to jot down the cost of each, or a receipt, to show them.
I cannot eat anything ginger burns my stomach . I haveplenty digestion issues .. none after medical assist and my own research it is what it is…I recently purchased the stomach tea .. peppermint . Still on a trial basis .. we shall see!
I like peppermint tea but I have to drink it sparingly because it aggravates esophagitis another one of my issues. I guess it's all trial and error to see what works the best.
You're eating too much ruffage That's causing your stomach problems Especially the all these packaged salads It happens to me all the time So I continue eating salad But limit it to a certain amount
Yes you're right I can't eat too much roughage I just eat very small salads or put some on a sandwich. Sometimes it can contribute to my stomach problems but that's not the root cause of it. They say it's best to cook your veggies.
I love changing things around even in my small place. It feels fresh to me!
That's the thing, everything feels fresher when you move things around and clean underneath 👍

The clothes these days aren't very attractive

Yes lots of challenges this year! I've had a rebounder for years but I never use it I should drag it out. We seem to be having the same weather

Your arrangement looks nice.
Thank you I'm liking it so far 👍

Things are looking nice. Dear sweet Chloe❤
It's getting there. We miss our Chloe 💔
I get bored with my home decor as well. In a couple of years, I might make changes. At this time, it looks good.
As long as I still like it and it functions well I leave it alone, but there are times where we all just need a change 👍
@@EllensAbundantLifeonLess For sure!
Apple cider Vinigar helps me with stomach issues
There's so much conflicting information out there I guess we all just have to try different things and see what works
Happy New Year.
Almost there hopefully it will be a better year 🙏
Greetings from Denver, Colorado . We spent Christmas here where my daughter lives . Happy NY my dear friend 🥂

How do you wash your mop cloths? Is it by themselves in the washing machine?
I wait until I get several cleaning rags together and wash them separately in a small load.in the washer.
Have you tried the Taylor farm Mediterranean Crunch salad kit. That’s my favorite. I love to have those for a work lunch with a yogurt.❤
I've had a Mediterranean salad kits before but I don't know what brand it was. I liked it

Yes I keep all of my receipts with my tax papers and take them with me when I go see the taxman.
Emergency CPR? 😂😂😂 I need cpr too 😂

I wouldn't mind at all, to pay a little more, to have things made in America. As a Country, we will be much safer, and we can't put a price on that.
@@ceciliaperales8466 I agree 👍

When I eat the cabbage salads from Aldi's it feels like it's almost cutting my stomach.
I hope you find the route cause of it!
@RosedayDay-my3si sometimes that happens to me too
