I also had a potato chip craving and bought a 10 oz bag and ate the whole thing! Felt guilty, but when you think about it, a whole medium to large potato is about 10 oz, so it was like having one potato, just sliced thinly. Its been a year since I last ate chips like that. They were so yummy.
I'm sure you feel better with all that you have accomplished with you basement organization. I love the readings that you are sharing with us, thank you. My Mom and I used to share a hershey bar and Lays chips...so good together. Hope you have a relaxing evening Ellen.

@@ajcrum3689 I should have gotten some dip for the chips but Costco only has large containers and I don't want all that dip. It's fun spending time with the grandkids ❤️
I actually buy the spinach dip at Sam’s Club. I get a huge 32 ounce container for roughly around five dollars. I do the same with my hummus. I get roasted red pepper hummus for five dollars for 32 ounces. These are the best prices I’ve ever seen in a store and they get them both at Sam’s Club. The hummus I use for my hummus sandwiches and I top it with a ton of fresh vegetables everything from thinly sliced onion to thinly sliced cucumbers also tomatoes, some baby spinach and possibly a piece of cheese and it is so good for the spinach dip. I actually get Portabella mushrooms. I wash them. I do remove the stem and then I stuff them with the spinach dip. Then I flash freeze them in my freezer overnight on a cookie sheet and then I seal them in an airtight bag when I want them, I pull them out of the freezer. I stick them on a cookie sheet lined with either parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. I put them in the oven for roughly about 10 to 12 minutes. At 350°F then I can pull them out and eat them and they are absolutely amazing! At Aldi and eight pack of these type of mushrooms will cost you nearly 7 dollars and floored at the prices! I make them so inexpensive and cheaply using my Sam’s Club membership because the portobello mushrooms I get at Sam’s Club is 1 pound for under five dollars and then an entire 32 ounces of spinach dip so I have plenty of spinach dip left over and I freeze that in 2 ounce little dipping sauce cups that I purchased off of Amazon these 2 ounce dipping cups are plastic and they come 100 to a pack with 100 lids. I spoon the rest of my spinach dip into these containers. Pop the lid on and throw them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer, they are wonderful. I also do this with my hummus because there’s no way I’m ever buying the pre-portion little cups of hummus or guacamole or anything else because they’re extraordinarily expensive But I will take my leftover hummus stick it in the 2 ounce portion cups pop the lids on and throw those in my freezer as well then when I want one, I take it out let it thaw out for 30 up to 45 minutes and they are perfect Right out of the freezer! I also make my own salsa and my own guacamole and do this and the 2 ounce portion cups as well I think it’s absolutely ridiculous for people to go out and spend six or eight dollars on 6 cups of the 2 ounce portions of guacamole or hummus or anything of that nature when you could actually do it at home so much cheaper and it’s literally pennies on the dollar! The 2 ounce portion cups that I get with the sleeves of the lids that come together as a pack cost me around eight dollars on Amazon if you’re careful with the lids and with the cups like I am, you can wash them out and reuse them and I do this or religiously had a pack of 100 sleeves with 100 cups for nearly a year and I’m still reusing them Just got a hand washer and air dry them and then use again oh, and I forgot to say also my sandwich definitely gotta have pickle slices too. I like the sandwich stacker version of the pickle slices sandwich
@@ChallengeYourWalletAarynLynn I need to get some of those cups. The spinach dip mushrooms sound wonderful. I love veggie sandwiches and wraps. So good.
There is nothing wrong with indulging yourself and a little bit of something you really love especially it’s snack time! Snack time is not only for kiddos but for adults also! We just bought two of the 10 ounce bags of ripple potato chips from Aldi and what all I can say is that we do portion them out otherwise any of us and all of us in this house we go through those bags and no time flat. Due to the fact that I am on a weight-loss journey currently and changing my lifestyle to better my health. I usually take one of the Walmart snack bags and that’s what I put my chips in that portions me out so that I don’t overheat something that I really enjoy with either a hummus and veggie loaded sandwich or if I just want chips while watching movie night. I will say another thing that I love to eat is fresh fruit if I want something sweet, I always reach for fruit. Bananas are my favorite food on the entire planet! I love oranges and apples and grapes and berries of all sorts so if I’m watching a movie or something of that sort I tend to put one of these fruit plates together. It’s one of my favorites along usually with a sugar-free Jell-O and if I want chips well I have to have it in a snack bag because that’s my portion control! One other food that I love to eat are stuffed potatoes so I will take either a potato and stuff it with Vegetarian chili topped with sour cream and cheese or I will take a potato and peel it and cut it into french fries throw it in my ninja air fryer so I don’t have to use any oil at all and then put some vegetarian chili on top and then top that with light sour cream and fat-free Cheese and it’s absolutely amazing. I’m actually gonna be looking for some fat-free cheese in the Block version since I’m no longer buying the shredded cheese anymore but nothing wrong with getting some good tasty treats for yourself. Life is too short not to enjoy what you really love and enjoy.

I was at Costco a few days ago....was so hard but I stayed out of the chip area. Also skipped crackers, snacks, etc. Practically killed me.😪😁 I did get my eggs. My brother likes Lays and the market nearby puts them on sale for $2,50 if you buy 4..so I buy 8. Then the next week they will have all the Fritos for same price or sometimes $1.99. must buy 4. Then other times both the Lays & Fritos items willl be the sale. It's really great to get him a variety and stash away. Lots of snacks on sale because of football season and Rosebowl Game coming up. Costco deals are great but take me so long to eat and now I don't eat any because of anti-cancer diet. I will probably die from chip withdrawl...I need the crunch. I can have popcorn with butter🍿 I need to go back to Costco on Monday as they have some things I want that go off sale on the 24. Do you have a Marshall's nearby or Ross. TJ Maxx? Their gourmet section has such great deals and excellent dip mixes. I Google them when in the store. Just check the dates.
