Leighton is an amazing helper. Even in this heat he jumps right in. Don’t pay attention to rude people. It’s your family. It’s your farm. You take care of your pets the way you see fit. ❤
AMEN 🙏🏻 TO ALL OF THAT❣️I truly don’t get some people, and their TACTLESSNESS, RUDENESS, MEANNESS, etc❣️A lot of times I feel they are just hateful and in order to feel better about themselves they have to find fault in others❣️Can’t we ALL JUST GET ALONG❣️God bless 🤲🏻 you, the Eddy’s, their Farm, and ALL❣️ 🫶🏻😎🫶🏻
Amen and Amen 🙏 ❤
@@debranichols5384- I agree!!!!!
You have a great plan for your fenced-in area, Brandon. Your sons are handy helpers. Be Blessed ❤
❤@@debranichols5384
Hats off to Brandon, Steph, Leighton, and Kayson for working hard with the fencing in the extreme heat. Those goats are a challenge. 💞
I declare, those boys look like they have grown a foot taller! Not only are they growing up, they are maturing and getting stronger. That process of growth shows up in their behavior & willingness to jump in and grab ahold of those panels which used to be too big for them to handle! Great work ethics!¡😮😊
Those are definitely sand plums! I have a recipe for sand plum jelly and you would all love it. It looks like they are ripe. I have looked to buy a couple of bushes to put on our little acreage but they are hard to find and too expensive. Great job on the fence! Let me know if you want the recipe for the jelly.❤
It does look like a Sand Plum. It's also known as Chickasaw Plum Tree. I found that they can be purchased online from Shrubs and Trees Depot for $17.95. I have never ordered from this company. Just trying to give you info because you mentioned you would like one. Hope this helps 😊
@@TexasNana2 thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I sure hadn’t found them that cheap. I will definitely get me some!
That Leighton is such a good helper and Cason is going to be such a big helper also! Good kids!
Leighton is like having another adult helping and beautiful Kayson loves to be with and doing everything with his hero Dad
Leighton is such a wonderful young lad he is a great help around the farm. . Carly looks like a sweet girl. I can't believe people are so rude to comment on the way you look after your animals, it''s clear they all well taken care of.
You've got that fencing process down to a science now Brandon! Using that pipe was a great idea to get them all even height. Things are coming along nicely. Rest up, there's plenty more work for tomorrow!
I'm so glad Carly is doing a lot better
I see now, I thought something was wrong with her foot. Now I remember you saying something about it being a birth defect. Bless it, I'm sorry, it looks like it hurts, but I'm glad it doesn't! You have the best helper ever in Leighton, he's so good, and I never hear him complain, like most teenagers would! He's an amazing young man, I know y'all are proud of him! Y'all be careful and stay hydrated! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
❤ don't worry about what everyone else thinks and says. You have a beautiful family and you are teaching them what it is to be responsible and love all God's creations. They see the both of you and they are learning hands on. Don't worry about the negative people. They have nothing but nasty things to say and can't find joy in their lives. Keep on doing what you are doing. God bless. ❤
Leighton sure isn't allergic to work! Wow!
You guys take excellent care for your animals they are family. Y’all are new to this homesteading and still learning, but your family and animals come first. God Bless you all. Positive thoughts encouragement, advise and ideas are welcomed. Trolls keep your criticism to yourselves.
There is an app you can get that allows you to hover your phone over a plant and it will identify it, tell you why it is not thriving, and what to do to make it healthy again along with other info. With all the different plants on a farm, I think this app would be good to have!❤️
The area where you are moving panels from was not a bad idea. The goats just cleared it a lot faster than you expected. Movable fencing is awesome.
Brandon and Stephanie, I found I had to electrify my fencing near, about 8 inches from the bottom, and again up higher on the fence to keep their feet off the fence and the last wire above the fence to keep "jumpers" from trying to jump out. Also kept neighboring dogs from trying to attack my goats.
Brandon and Stephanie:
Farming is 24/7/365. Most folks do not realize this. Your mind is always running: what needs adjusting, how can we make it better, what needs fixing and how best to fix it, some critters have issues or problems and as your mind trips over each critter some you need to pause on longer, some shorter. Then there is the ever present "TO DO" list that always gets added to just when you get the list whittled down. NO ONE NEEDS TO BE SAYING ANYTHING NEGATIVE. Y'all are doing a great job as farmers, parents, home owners and caring responsible humans!👍👍
Yep. I had relatives with farms. It was a constant and EVERYONE helped and EVERYONE old enough to understand simple commands had chores to do. 5 yr old can understand enough to take a hose to fill a water trough when shown what you want them to do. It's just how it is. 😉👍
I sure admire Leighton and how he is always helping, I dont know if you tell him what to do or he just jumps in.
Hopefully this will keep the goats from raiding your neighbors roses. That was one expensive breakout! 💖💖💖
The boys are great workers. They are learning fast on the jobs on the farm ❤
Brandon, you Steph and the kids are so caring with the animals. Love watching your videos. You are doing great with the improvements of the farm. Kayson is so funny my husbands loves watching him with his ideas.❤❤❤
Hello Brandon, Stephanie, Leighton, Addison, Bralee, and Kayson. You are a very supportive of each other. And no matter the problems you face, including the Goats escaping. Team work so great. Carley is a beautuful LGD, and Love Dixie, Tobie and their puppies, and love the Llamas, ponies and chickens❤. 💕❤️🌈🥰🙏
So glad to see you are using the tractor "press method" Brandon! Saves on your back... 🚜 Great job y'all
Love how you have a puppy supervising the fencing job, so cute!❤
Leighton is an amazing young man. You all are just learning how to farm and be animal owners. You are learning and adjusting. You all got this. Prayers for all❤😂😮😊😊
Thank you and thank you so much for watching. Hope you have a wonderful night.❤️🫶🏼
Bless you for choosing to leave Carly the way she is as much as possible. Sometimes nature isn't perfect. That doesn't mean that imperfect is a mistake. Too many people forget that only one man was ever born perfect. I'd also like to say bless you for compensating the neighbors. Most folks would give an insincere apology and expect to move on. My favorite animal is my miniature pinschers. And my big Vane Corso. Lol. I'd like to see yall get some mini donkeys. They would protect your goats from coyotes and wild dogs.
Good job Steph moving fast to check if a goat injured….thankfully all is well…..
I would love to see a miniature donkey in the future. I love watching your videos. I get to see your kids grow up and become young adults. You all are such a hard working family. I live in Knox, Indiana, and I’m 64 years old. I’m a Marine Corps veteran.
What a great job installing that fence. Stephanie and the boys were so helpful. Now we gotta keep this silly goats on your land!🙏🙏👏👏
Brandon I was watching Cogg Hill and they rented a t-post driver when they were fencing and was it ever slick! (It was powered by gas) They had all the posts up in no time and saved their arm and back muscles, I just wanted to let you know incase you were interested.
They rented one cause they are expensive to buy. Cog Hill got it done pretty quickly too
Hello all, I hope you are all doing well 😀 😊 ☺️ 👍
I love watching your family work together. I also love that you have patience with your children. My parents didn’t have patience at times, and my sarcasm didn’t make it better.
So many times parents aren't very patient with their kids. Even though I realize parenting isn't easy, it's refreshing to see parents being patient with their children 😊❤️
I like the way the puppy just laid down and watched you work. It amazing how fast they are growing!
As always, it's been a real pleasure to see your family working together on the farm.
Thank you and thank you so much for watching. Hope you have a wonderful night.❤️🫶🏼
Try feeding treats from the palm of your hand...this seems to be less threatening to all animals...❤
It's easier for them to pick up from the palm also. They can see the entire piece of food also.
You are doing such a good job with your children and the farm. Keep doing what you are doing. I am so proud of what you have accomplished so far. I love the lessons you are teaching your children.
I see the Puppies are supervising the job😊🥰🙏❤️
Great job on the fence have a good evening
Looks like a like plums. I love Cowboy and the goat that rides with you in the side by side. I love mini donkeys (they are full of personality like DeJay's. Brandon and Stephanie you are doing a great job with your farm and your Family. Your Kids are so well behaved and well mannered and so helpful.
I just love how your boys are so willing to help especially Kayson, that is so good for him❤
💙❤️💚💜💛💖
Another Great Day At Eddy Family Farm
🚜 ❤😊
Raising animals is not an easy job I was raised on a dairy farm my father had 70 acres plus he would rent land too we had about 40 to 50 milk cows plus chickens some ducks, geese and the chores never seem to end he would be up by 4:30 in the morning and in bed by 9 at night you guys truly love your animals, ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Your family are really hard workers. Those children are learning a life long work ethic and the knowledge when they get older is priceless. I remember that nature sounds when our family would go to Arkansas each summer to visit all our relatives.
What an awesome family❤❤ ignore the negative comments, live, love & laugh - life is too short, enjoy the journey❤
Your family make a great team and you all work hard to get everything accomplished. God Bless your family ❤😊❤😊❤
Fencing jobs never end. Them goats clear a place out in no time. Maybe a miniature camel. Water buffalo. What ever your heart desires. Thanks guys.
Those look like wild plums we get here in South Carolina. They don't get much bigger them that. They are so yummy and sweet. Don't eat them without checking 1st though just in case. I love all the sounds of the tree frogs and crickets. It's so peaceful.
Sending happy prayers for all the kids tomorrow for their first day at school🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏🙏 have a wonderful time guys😊
Brandon that was a great job backing the trailer up.
I appreciate the info on Carly. I'm new to the channel, but never thought for 1 minute that you did not take care of your Animals. Thanks for everything you and Stephanie do, I enjoy your videos so much. 🙂
Leighton is a fantastic helper on the farm and Kayson too! The pipe idea was just plane ingenious, Brandin!! I got to remember that next time we put up fence! Goats are great at finding ways to get out. It's a constant chore just keeping them in. I thing yall would enjoy some peacocks 🦚 they're beautiful and unique.
You all work so well together , love the lamas are trusting you more, great job on the fence
A farm takes work let alone on social media. You’ve got good helpers and a nice support team. Negative crap is always going to happen brush it off and move on. You guys are living the life and there will always be haters. You do you and don’t look back. Have a good day everyone 👍
Hi Steph and Brandon. The fencing looks pretty good. I love the panels your buying, I think makes it easier installing a fence. Your videos are fantastic, love your content and family. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Your videos are better than watching TV
Ohhh Brandon that looks like sand plums! I used to get on my Shetland pony's back and he had a routine walking through my parents sand plum patch and I would and ride. Makes good plum jelly or jam. We are looking for land in Oklahoma and I hope I get blessed with sand plum trees and pecan trees. Great work on the fence and your children are amazing! God bless y'all!
Brandon and Stephanie that was such a smart idea with the tractor putting the poles in instead of Brandon using his muscles lol. The next animal I would like to see is Wilbur get a play mate. Great job❤❤😊
Hello Brandon and Stephany, I am very new to your channel. Thank you for all you do, for the animals and your beautiful children, Leighton is a terrific worker and Kayson I totally enjoy. You are doing such a wonderful job raising caring loving children. And we know how much you care for ALL your animals! Thank you🤗💕💙
Brandon make sure you pick up all the short wire pieces you are dropping! Goats will get it in their stomachs while grazing!
❤Great having family help on the farm, always unexpected things to do but you all get it done!
I love watching you all doing it as a family love how your youngest boy is always wanting to do what everyone is doing he's so cute
Cog Hill Farm rented a hammer Tee-Post setter. They stood on the back of their farm cart to hammer them in place because the ground was too dry & hard.
Hi there badger is such a handsome boy. The camera loves him. I’d like to see an emu running around. God Bless. 💕🙏
Carry is such a beautiful girl ...I hope you didn't think I thought you were ill treating her ,.no such thing ..I can tell you love all your animals ..they are all treated well ...keep up the videos ..love watching you all on your farm xx
Your family is so caring to your animals. You do everything possible for them
Boy! You guys have got this fence building down to a science.😊
Mini donkeys male and female. Y'all did an excellent job getting that fence up and working together as a team. Keep on keepin on 😅😊❤❤❤
really love how you used the pipe to set the green post for the fence....would love to see a Cow or even sheep
I don't get to leave a lot of messages for yall. I really do like watching your family and I love watching your Children helping out. My favorite animal is Badger.
Your all running and taking the time to insure the farm animals are taken care of. Great job, and hope your doing well ❤️🩹
glad you were able to find the escape route and fix it. i agree, if the little boogers manage to escape thru all that fencing its time for a new home
That fruit tree looks like what we call a sand plum or wild plum. Really tart, but good for making jelly.
Glad Carly is doing better. Sorry the goats escaped and messed up the neighbors roses. Kayson is doing a good job helping with the panels. Leighton is always there helping you too. Hope the new fencing helps to keep them from escaping. Y'all are doing a great job with the animals and the property. Just keep doing you and don't worry about those negative people. Some people just gotta complain. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
Chickasaw plum make yummy deserts and jelly/jams. GREAT job, w/that fencing. Its nice your able to move it around and not just keep them in one place.
God Bless all of you!!! Love all the animals !! Favorite would have to be the ponies. Miniature donkey’s would be cute. 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
That was very smart using the tractor bucket to put the t-posts in. It sure saved you a lot of pounding. You are doing a great job on your farm. Hopefully that will keep the goats in.❤❤❤❤❤❤
The area they clear looks great...saved you a bunch of work in the heat ❤
💓💝💘❤💖 watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great night!!!
You ask are such hard workers. The boys just didn't give up. Great job.
Thank you and thank you so much for watching. Hope you have a wonderful night.❤️🫶🏼
Would like to see more of the chickens being pampered and put catching bugs.
Some goat are good but yah have to many you need electric fence for them.Hate to tell you once they found a way out they will always be looking for a way out where are the dogs Dixie and Toby should be with them ,and I would clipped both of them - and you do know that Dixie will get pregnant again soon after being weaned from her puppies.Jest thought you should know !
Love the videos and all the animals, those look like we call here in Alabama wild cherry trees, watch out for the thorns if one gets you it will get very sore. Keep them coming!!!
They look like plums. Goats are escape artist. Takes a lot to keep them in. I hope this works for you.
Wild plums. That's my vote, too.
What an ingenious way to put in those t-posts. I’ve only seen one other person use the tractor bucket but the PVC measurer I had never seen that. Good team work on getting that fence line built. Thanks for another good video.
And here we go again we're putting one t post per joint of wire you know it's not strong enough but you still do it again hopefully you're going to be smart and you're going to put one every 8 feet at least🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can tell I’ve never been a farmer. It seems so redundant to put up fence, take it down, move it, and put it up again. Y’all do a great job though. God Bless!!
Good use of the tractor for t post driver…thinking smarter not harder 😻
Goats are trouble! Donkeys are Guardian animals (u have got to gelded all the stallions ) ! some more pigs and maybe some sheep and Turkeys ! I used to raise ,whisper ( trained) horses until my stroke -
That is what is nice about T-posts and panels, they can be moved/re-used many times. Yes, it will be nice once you can fence the entire property, but that takes time & money to do at one time. Glad to see Carly is recovering nicely from her spay. (I have a soft spot for her & I am happy she is with your family). People also need to remember you are still learning, yes mistakes will happen, but you do your best for your animals and family.
Love your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and your family. The lord will guide you and Stephanie and be at your side always
once again working on those farmer muscles ❤
You live in Gods Country, where your children are l srning sonmuch about life, and how to take on lif s challenges with confidence. You need to tweek things up and sfift the panels around as needed. I alpreciate all I've learned from your experiences. Thank you all for sharing with TH-cam.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love watching this Family,l am in Australia and take my hat off to them,Brandon and Stephanie are a good team working together, the Kids are really good the way they help their Parents, the whole Family are excellent the way they treat the animals with a lot of love.❤
if there is a spot to get out goats will find it.
Your kiddos are amazing. The naysayers are jealous of how well behaved they are. Their own kids may not be have or they don't have any. God Bless and I love y'all 💕💕💕
What a time saver using the PVC pipe was. And it saved on heat exhaustion!
Stefanie! I hollered at you about the goat outside the fence but you didn't hear me!😢😂🐐🐐
looks great glade carly is doing better and hope those goats stay put
Love❤ your new hat, well done 🙂
Watering system for fence 26 feet per watering system!!! Cog Hill hooked one up for their birds to keep them cool,it hooks to water hose and timer!! Talk to Brook she set it up
I would like to see a Zebra on your farm. It sure would be different. Love you all. 👍❤️🐕🐾🐾
Zebras are too dangerous around kids.
Peacocks (no emoji) but I know they’re expensive. Would love to see you with one or two someday. I love watching your family work together.
Hi they had a peacock at the property but they didn't keep he for ever long
