While it is possible for a video to provide both entertainment and education, calling it “perfect” may be an overstatement. No video is truly perfect and there is always room for improvement, especially in balancing deep education and entertainment without diluting the value of either.
2:56 aren't those copper electrodes you showed? They usually prefrorm electrolysis to have the copper deposit on the negitive electrode to leave any impurities behind
The availability of wire recycling infrastructure varies greatly by region. In many places, access to specialized recycling centers capable of extracting and processing copper from old wires is limited or non-existent. This means that a significant amount of old wiring still ends up in landfills, contributing to electronic waste rather than being "revived" for a new life cycle. The optimistic tone of the statement doesn’t reflect the logistical and systemic challenges of making copper recycling universally effective.
The high value of copper as a scrap metal encourages recycling through scrap metal dealers. Whether or not there is end to end recycling capability within a country is irrelevant, and doesn't influence overall recycling %. In countries like my own, there is no end to end recycling, but copper is highly valued at scrap metal dealers (10 times aluminium scrap value). So people sell their old wiring and plumbing to scrap dealers who then export it to countries that can recycle it The same with aluminium, lead, steel, stainless, zinc and other recyclable metals
Copper is durable materials to use in any high voltage and heat. Like bullets, electric wires, circuit board, electronics device so amazing materials than the other materials.
You missed one complete step in the recycling. After the melting of the granulate you still have other metals inside and you also show the Electrode Plates. After that they send the plates for electro recycling. They strip first copper, than silver and then gold. These copper sheeds will then be remelted and you have a 100% Copper sheed. This sheed then gets reheated and rolled.

Is this recycling and reusing copper cores to protect the environment and save on copper ore mining production costs?
That's for sure. You can easily verify this information.
