There is a certain width of material that can be handled with one dowel jig, so I think you can do most projects if you make about 3 according to the width of the material you often use. For example, a 5 inch wide, 3 dowel jig will hold up to 6 inches. And if you need a jig for unusual widths and dowel positions, how about a super easy dowel jig? You can make it in no time!
