The biggest problem I found with making doweling jigs is the high precision required in the build because when you use the same jig for opposing joints, any inaccuracy in the jig will be doubled, resulting in misaligned joints. This pair-use jig solves that problem!
Does the accuracy of the connection is not affected by a large error 7:05 in the manufacture of the jig?
Good day! I am interested in your video and have great respect for your skills. My doubt is not denial, only doubt. I have no such experience and practical skills. However, I used dowels for simple home jobs. Based on this small experience, and school geometry course (though it was a long time ago))) I expressed my doubts. If you make holes by hand, without the use of a stabilizing device, you will inevitably get an error (you will get it even when using different devices-is it possible to neglect it, or will it affect the quality of the connection?) This error will cause the hole axes not to be parallel to each other and not to be perpendicular to the base and workpiece planes. I remain your grateful audience!
It does not have to be parallel or vertical. It is only necessary that the axes of the two are matched. I can not explain it in Russian. Someone, please give him a description in Russian.
Thanks! Of course, in my native language is more convenient )) But at this moment everything is clear to me. I agree with your argument, of course, but it is only fair to one shkant. If you are connecting two or more peg - they should be parallel. Such is my misconception at the moment, sorry )) Good luck!
Take time making the jigs, they last for a long time, with care, save lots of time too when making right angles for cabinets especially.Great show, Thank you.

Drill the both piece together with a single system = more fast an more precize! Good usual for You mr MMAGIC HANDY MAN isn't it! Thank again, more cheap than the works shop
very nicely done, I must try making this jig for myself. I noticed the small table saw and several commenters have asked about it. Which saw is it? it looks great, very helpful for small work. Also, I like the music very much, good choice.
So for t-joining you'd make a dowel jig where the holes are horizontally spaced from the resting guide, instead of vertically thou for more uses instead of it being one jig with 2 holes, make 2 identical jigs with only 1 hole, otherwise you're limited by the width of the boards i.e you had a 15 cm wide board, you'd make a hole guide jig with 5 cm's space between them and if it's 8 mm thick dowels 8,2 cm spacing on either end, but if your next project calls for 12 cm wide boards then that would throw it All out of alignment
I was wondering the same, but it would probably be metric and here in the states we are still behind on weights and measures so I will probably just match a bit to dowel size and tube.

amazing result. you shown a clever way to compensate for not so straight hand drilling. the two pieces fit together perfectly.
Jig should be made like this as a pair so the guided holes do not need to be perfectly vertical. this is brilliant.
Good my brother💖💖💖👌👌🇮🇳🇮🇳
Pure skills. I just find It amazing how you drilled those holes almost perfectly perpendicular using only hand held drills.
Superb bro, very easy , prevent us wasting money
Good you work 👍👍👍👍🥇🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great product! I’m going to make one tomorrow. Thank you.
🎓Exellent main frend👌
my greetings from serbia
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent accuracy and workmanship thank you
Brilliant! What clever engineering, taking advantage of the reference surfaces so the holes always match!
Amazing joint with amazing jig.
Super.
And i thought i was good but you are brilliant. This actually works despite the error of hand drilling. I couldn,t have thought of it. Congrats...
My headaches just left ME.thank you sir.simplicity sensation at best. And freehanded.tip of the hat. El Tejano

Wonderful. So easy to make. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome! I don't have a drill press and so happy I'll be able to make a dowel jig anyway . Thank you!
I explain the video with subtitles.
I think that it is easy to understand by turning on subtitles.
自作工房 only Japanese subtitles are available. Though the process seems pretty clear so far.
It is in translation, but it will take some time.
For now, please visit youtube for automatic translation.
@@jisakukobo I agree with seth, the video is pretty self explanatory, well done.
Very nice video❤❤❤❤
It's a very nice idea. I like simple technics.
Beautiful Jobwork 💗

Why do you think so?
I am shooting video to prove that it works properly with movies.
Are not you watching a movie?

Brilliant!
I also love that fine work little table saw.
Very good 👍🏼
I love your videos!
Thanks will make them, as the jig I've got is rubbish and been practicing before I wast good wood.
How can we test economic models of the forest sector?

I made this today. Works Great ! Thankyou !
Very good working!
muito legal!!! Parabéns!! Voce poderia passar as medidas e materiais utilidados?
Só saber onde comprar esse caninho!!
Very neatly done and just what I was looking for. Thank you
love you guys.
Excellent job and video too! thank u
I did it and work perfect. Thx for sharing mate.
What's the musical trailer title plz.
It is amazaing! Brilliant idea! Thank you
Master, which table circular saw do you use? Proxxon?
Really enjoy this video thankyou, it still comes down to how precise I can drill these holes
you don't have to drill these holes perfectly - that's why his solution is such a perfect one.
Thanks. Congratulations. Good job
Well presented Video !
very nicely done, I must try making this jig for myself.
I noticed the small table saw and several commenters have asked about it. Which saw is it? it looks great, very helpful for small work.

What kind of table saw is that?
Alguna con rodamientos 608 de 22 mm?
Genious. No need for drill press
Thanks for publishing it! That's the solution I was looking for! Cheers!
Thanks for the subtitles.
Great job
Gostei muito bom

hi I like youe precise work, what is the double stick tape you are using? you have a link?
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your great expertise
Me gusta👍👍
A simple and clever solution. Well done!
I still don't understand how will you get the holes straight without a. Drill press?
Perfectly square is not necessary. Alignment is the most important part and the two blocks are aligned while drilling.
Brilliant first class
very precise finish .thanks tony thomas

Just brilliant. Very neatly done and just what I was looking for. Thank you. Subscribed.
The video never showed how to make the matched jigs for the T junction, just the corner piece
Sure, the T junction jig is not so straight forward
So for t-joining you'd make a dowel jig where the holes are horizontally spaced from the resting guide, instead of vertically thou for more uses instead of it being one jig with 2 holes, make 2 identical jigs with only 1 hole, otherwise you're limited by the width of the boards i.e you had a 15 cm wide board, you'd make a hole guide jig with 5 cm's space between them and if it's 8 mm thick dowels 8,2 cm spacing on either end, but if your next project calls for 12 cm wide boards then that would throw it All out of alignment
Thanks for that brilliant idea. The sound of your electric drill is like a music in my ears.....hope i had that kind of High Quality drill/tools.
What size of a hole?
What a great idea!!!! Thanks
If the jig is made for T junction then it should have been shown to be working with the T junction and not the right angle.
Dimensions would be helpful, especially spacing of holes
what is the diameter of metal sleeve? Is it stainless steel sleeve?
I was wondering the same, but it would probably be metric and here in the states we are still behind on weights and measures so I will probably just match a bit to dowel size and tube.
8 mm
Excelente
