So for t-joining you'd make a dowel jig where the holes are horizontally spaced from the resting guide, instead of vertically thou for more uses instead of it being one jig with 2 holes, make 2 identical jigs with only 1 hole, otherwise you're limited by the width of the boards i.e you had a 15 cm wide board, you'd make a hole guide jig with 5 cm's space between them and if it's 8 mm thick dowels 8,2 cm spacing on either end, but if your next project calls for 12 cm wide boards then that would throw it All out of alignment

Pure skills. I just find It amazing how you drilled those holes almost perfectly perpendicular using only hand held drills.
Jig should be made like this as a pair so the guided holes do not need to be perfectly vertical. this is brilliant.
