makita 1911BSPになります。30年以上前のモデル、未だにカタログにのってます。板矧ぎした大きめの板をカンナがけするのならオススメですが、一般用途なら82mm幅の方がいいかなと思います。

82mmの方がいっぱいありますし、使いやすいのではと思います。どのメーカでもいいのですが、最大切削深さが2mm以上であることと、前後端に底板の出っ張りのある機種がこの治具には向いてます。是非試してみてください。

アドバイスありがとうございます。　特殊な実験用で薄い板（A4サイズくらいの大きさ）を0.5㎜ずつ削る必要があるため1900Bを選んでみようと思います。用途が限られていることとマキタのパーツがどこでも手に入るのでオーバーホールをして専用加工機を作る予定です。　　※木工になるのかはわかりませんが最終的には樹脂加工などを施し音響関係の実験が目的です。

切ってみたけど、うまくいかない・・ということなら。切り方かもですね。台が平らにできているなら、切れますよ。薄く切るには刃の調整が大事です。刃はまだ出さず、傾きに注意して入れます。そこから軽く刃の後をたたいて刃を出しますが、ほんのちょっとずつです。根気よく焦らずに作業します。あと試す材料は15mm幅くらいのものがいいです。

I bought the plans, I’ll still make the jig. Mine is a Bosch electric hand planer. Just wondering if you have any ideas on how to modify the planer so I can attach it to the rails securely?

This jig can be used with your planer. Since there is no protruding part on the front or back, you cannot attach a holding material to the rail as it was designed 08:58. You don't need the holding piece when flattening the board, but you should have a problem when lifting the planer and moving it around with the jig. So what I can suggest is to use the screw holes for accessories on the side of the planer. You can make parts from aluminum or brass sheets. Cut a groove in the rail crosspiece and insert the part. Hope this solves the problem.

Added a free drawing for Bosch planers at kikikuma store. This is a reference drawing of a holding parts for a model without front and rear overhangs. It is a rough idea as I have not actually tried it. I hope it will be of some help. Please let me know if it worked. Thank you!

@@kikikumastudio thank you, I will look it over and see if it works. Or I make something different to work. I made the body wider (about two times, using a 10mm aluminium bar to reinforce the plywood), made the body longer as well for my specific case. I adjusted all the measurements from your drawings to my specific measure. Hopefully this weekend or the next week I will build and test this.

裏の研ぎに関しては動画公開後に気付きましたが、そのままにしています。ブログの方では記事にしました。この鉋、不思議です。形や仕様は洋ガンナのLow angle planeですが、しのぎ面を下に向けて入れてあります。Low angle planeは、しのぎ面は上にしますからね。諸々ありますが、研ぐなら裏返して入れた方がいいと思ってます。刃にThis side upと英語で刻まれているのでStanley 12-101 Small Trimming Planeとの関わりがあるのかしらと思ってみたり。

返信ありがとうございます。私は、これ日本のカンナに近いと思いますよ。設計者は日本人では？なんて思ったり。 あと１つ。刃口が狭いですね。打ち抜きなので垂直になってもいます。日本のカンナでは、刃口は 0.5mm ぐらい隙間があって、角度が付いています。裏側から角度を付けてやすりで削ると良いようです。

お詳しいですね。ホビーカンナは謎が多いので気になってました。刃口の件ですが、確かに狭いですね。これも不思議です。繊細な作業をするのならその方がいいわけですが、ホビーカンナの使い勝手ということを考えるともっと広くていいのではとも思います。荒く削りたい人もいるでしょうし。安価に板金で作るカンナですから、精度云々は難しく、後調整はしないでしょう。となるとうまく刃が出ない個体もあるのではと思います。裏返すと刃口は広がりますけど、むしろこっちが普通ではと思ったり。そしてStanleyの鉋に酷似しているのが、うーんですね。どっちがオリジナルなのかしら？気になりますが、大人の事情があるでしょうし、ここはそういう場ではないのでこれ以上はやめておきます。 DIY用ですし、ちょっとした手間でホビーカンナは使えるようになるので良しとしてます。替え刃もあるので始めての1台としてオススメと思ってます。

刃口の件ですが、この部分は「コッパ返し」と言います。角度について解説している記事もあります。鉋屑の詰まりが気になる場合は調整すると良いでしょう。

コッパ返し・・仕立てのディテールになってきましたね。kikikumaとしてちょっとまとめますけど、ホビーカンナは板金のDIY用ですからね。仕立て前提の和ガンナとは違います。チューニングを煮詰めていくのはそれぞれの興味の範囲でどうぞ。板金ゆえ個体差が大きいので煮詰めても思うような結果が出ないかもしれません。で、この金属台の下端は比較的簡単に直ります。きっちり平面にするのは難しいですからなんとなくでOKとしましょう。ここまではある程度の性能アップを期待できると考えます。で、削り屑が詰まるとか、そもそも刃が出ないよという場合は刃を裏返してみることをオススメします。刃口は広がりますが、間違った使い方ではないと考えてます。刃の調整は少しシビアになりますけど。諸々を楽しんでくださいね。 ホビーカンナで始めて、もっと知りたくなったら鋳物台か木の台の物を用意して深掘りしてくださいね。鉋は奥が深いのでこれだけで遊べます。ただ、沼なので・・ね。

A good saw and a good jig made me happy.

I'm using 4mm Star M taper point bit. And 4mm dowel rods for the pins. Works well. Have fun. Thank you!

Oh, I'm using an old old Panasonic impact driver. It's okay, but next time I'll buy Makita.

Awls are tapered at the tip, so it will be easy to shift. Therefore, I use brass escutcheon pins. Be careful to keep the pin straight and tap lightly. A certain thickness is required for the material used for the jig. Make sure that the hole leads the pin straight before the pin touches the material. 6mm is minimum when I tried. Drill 2mm holes into the jig and use #14 brass escutcheon pins, wire diameter 2mm as mentioned in the video. Hard to enlarge the holes with this combination if you used it with care. As always, please do it in a way that suits you.

This jig is to transfer the dowel position. So there is a length that is easy to use, but there is no rule regarding height of the jig. It is easier to use it if it roughly matches the material, though. I hope that answers your question.
