Trip report Saarbrücken, Germany - Metz, France via Forbach. International TER train

In this video, I'll first feature the railway station of Saarbrücken Hauptbahnhof (main station) in Germany, also called Saarbrücken Eurobahnhof, after that I'll show the trains on this route and at teh end some views from the train.

Great trip report it is very weird there is only 2 trains à day between metz and saarbrucken especially since they are not that far from each other perhaps lack of demand 🤔 anyway I liked the look of those diesel trains and the huge windows for the outside views and I liked the music too

De reden waarom je Metz niet uit de DB-automaat kreeg, is omdat de automaat op "enkel Duitse stations" ingesteld stond (de groene knop op het scherm op 3:51). Als je de instelling naar "Europa" had omgezet, zou het hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel zijn gelukt. 😉

From Paris to Saarbrücken, in that case I recommend www.trainline.eu, they have both the German and the French fare systems integrated on their website.
