a thing to notice if you travel in France by TGV: the platforms close 5 minutes before departure. It used to be 2 minutes but they changed the rule. 5 mu-inutes is significant be careful.
It's the first time i see a fifth seat installed at the bottom of the 2nd class carriage ! never seen it in real, ever ! it's a pity, there used to be additional (informal) luggage area behind the seats in this place !
I don't know when it will happen, but the government say they will make the marseille to nice section, full high speed. I'd guess 2030 to 2035. Here's hoping it goes all the way from marseille to genova! 😊
In France they love to build new high speed lines, also from east to west in the south. For some routes I fully encourage this, however for many routes if you just upgrade the tracks, maybe build small new parts, etc. You can reduce the travel time a LOT with less investments and the amount you would have spend otherwise can be used for other railway services, for example to keep smaller railway lines open and maybe increase the frequency (this is mainly my opinion on the east to west route in the south, for the Marseille - Nice route I have less of an opinion).
Very good content on this trip but in general can you please always include information on the best way to do station transfers and any accessibility problems please Like gare du Nord to garde de Lyon steps and luggage are a nightmare for the older generation 😢
I'm still thinking of that actually. Next week I'm in Paris again but that will be late arrival and early departure but this might be a nice project in autumn or so.
Very good and informative video.
Many thanks
25:51J'ai vu cet hôtel le mois dernier lorsque j'ai pris le mauvais train d'Antibes à Nice et que je suis allé à Cannes.
It is always nice to ride a train along the Sea Coast... Have a nice day 🍒🍒🍒
Absolutely, I love it.
Thank you, a great day to you as well.
Great video as always
Thank you 😊
Great and very informative video. Could you please tell me the title of that great music at about 23 minutes into the video? Many thanks!
I found it (No stopping us, by dark cat), but thanks again, it is always good to find new, cheerful music! 😊😊😊
You already found it, great. I'm using uppbeat for the music in my video's.

Thankfully there is no more tacky accordion music! Yay!
I'll try to pay attention
@@Trainviking I meant it’s nice that you stopped 😅
how to buy a ticket and reserve a seat in TGV inoui trains? thank you
My favorite website / app is Trainline
7€ for a coffe and a cake is cheap compared to "chicky-micky"-prices in Stockholm CBD And you'll NOT get the same atmosphere!
I just payd of my mortgage for a happe meal and one alcoholic drink in Scandinavia 😄
