I’m not sure if you can ,but I know this Detroit diesel has critical national back order of the water pump.The tractor sat for three weeks until we got the new water pump. If that operation was available we probably would have been told By Detroit parts I hope.
I’m going to guess that it leaked coolant when you removed the water pump because you drained the coolant from under the radiator. Last time I replaced my water pump I only drained coolant from the side of the engine.
If the clutch was still operational couldn't you have just swapped over the clutch assembly to a new water pump? Assuming if thats even an option I think it would have been a lot cheaper then getting the whole new $1000 assembly with new clutch no? Not raging just curious is all.
After I watched this video i fixed by myself saved about $1-2k. Thank you and please more video

Its usually the speed sensor on the pump that throws a code. You can buy just the sensor.
Do you know after how many miles it was replaced

I get to do this in a motel parking lot in the morning I got the pump I paid 950 will get back over 300 for the core. Mine has a leak and is growling.
I have replaced injectors cups and resealed all injectors in my dd15 on Orailly parking lot...
Why replace the water pump? Why not the rubber gasket only?
Because the water leaking out of the weep hole not the seal.

Its $1400 now. If you are throwing a code and its not leaking just change the speed sensor.
