Hello Rob and thanks for this video. Although we all know - it takes more efforts from You to make such (with overlay of commentary) - but it makes more sense for viewers especially those who are new to this sort of sports car. So - it`s great ;)
Thanks Alexander! Glad you enjoyed it! It’s my first time doing a video like this so I hope it was a good insight for you as to what it’s like to race Superkarts! Hopefully see you on the next video, please do subscribe matey! 🔥
Thanks for support John! Would love it if you could subscribe as it really supports the channel! Also we have new chassis collection video in 2 weeks time! Can’t wait 🔥
When i watched this race i was like man hes fast through that whole set of corners... makes sense its your favorite section lol. You were flyin. The vibrations on hands, arms, feet, really wears on you racing 2stroke machine. KTM has a counterbalanced 2stroke. My dad has one and its amazing to feel the top end of the 250 without the gnarly vibrations. +you have no suspension.... i felt bad for your hands lol. Great breakdown.
Great comment mate and as ever i appreciate the support! I think i was definitely better through the quicker corners, i think sometimes i didnt quite nail the chicanes but always been good at late braking! the physicality of Superkarts is like nothing else! no amount of gym work can prepare you for what your arms go through in a race lol!! It's like holding on for life! Anyway, glad you enjoyed and see you on the next video! Hit that subscribe if you haven't already!! 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely mate!! Levels of concentration is off the charts!! I’ve got my new chassis collection video next week so keep an eye out for that! If your feeling extra generous please hit the subscribe for this years race videos too! 🔥🔥
I know that short circuit is very physically because a lot higher frequency of cornering. However the g forces on long circuit are extremely physical especially with much higher speeds. We recently did cadwell and it was extremely physical
I suggest you move the camera to the left side or move the shifter to the right so we can more easily your shifts. Also watch Super GT’s vids (the best @ commenting on his own races IMO) for how U can do yours better. One thing I noticed is the audio quality of your voice over isn’t that great. Possibly a better mic a d/or a more sound proof room to record it (less echo).
We’re very happy with current camera position and actually have tried it in many different places. This is by far the best. I recorded audio on my phone as I didn’t want to buy a full microphone set up. Hope you enjoy some of our other racing videos and can hit the subscribe button to support the channel! Take care and stay safe! 👊

@14:45 How physical is a superkart vs a 125 short circuit shifter or OK or Rotax?
